  • Hi

Forgot to add that I have changed my user name from Wendy24g, Sorry I havent posted on your diary for a while.

Good luck with the challenge. I am finding I am slipping a bit these days. Too easy for little spends to add up.

  • was on for a no spend day today then had to pay the window cleaner ( huff, puff) £6 for him. Not possible to do them myself and have just paid a fortune for them so I want them clean :o . KP didn't make the connection so am glad you told me who you were. Hypno I think I might give you some competition with the huffing just now I am in a right strop about this money lark. The thing that shocked me the most is that between debts and running the house my wages don't even cover the payments and I live on Child benefit, Tax credits and maintenance. In 4 years time a lot of that will stop so whaT THE HELL WILL i DO THEN. i HAVE GOT GOT GOT TO GET THIS LOT AWAY BY THEN . Oops didn't mean to shout. Can you tell I panicked when I realised that?
SS those 2 debts are about £1100.00 for me but I probably already have about £400 of itso in addition to my normal debts I want to pay off an extra £700 ish. Join me and we'll keep each other company.
Am writing a list for my shopping and am determined I am going to stick to it as I only have £70 left to do me this week and I have to buy petrol as well. Have also promised the kids we can go to the pics but have told them they need to pay their own tickets.:o . Am going down to Lincoln next month for a few days to see ex-brother-in-law and his family so that will cost me a bit for petrol etc and I always treat them to a meal of some sorts whilst I am there as a thank you.
Doing well so far on the diet front but hey it's only been 3 days :D .

  • Dont worry too much about 4 years away just concentrate on each month/week or even day at a time. Hopefully the kids will be bringing in their own income at that stage so less cost to you.

I find no spend days practically impossible with all the various household and childrens costs that appear such as trips, subs etc.

How are you getting on with the photos for the ebay listings? GirlRacer has made over £600 in May and June and is around £150 so far for July from the £10 a day challenge.

  • Aye I wished !! I won £6 on the scratchcard thingys and I am just about to iron and photograph the stuff I have for e-bay so hopefully that'll pull in a feww quid. Only spent £38 odds in shopping yesterday. Went with a list and stuck to it. Back at the slimming club so its easy to stick tot the list when you cant be tempted anyway. I have meals for the week and a big pot of soup on at the moment for munching on when the need arises. My mum is making tatties and mince for tea tonight so that saves me thinking about today other than soup. I'll be back later. Going to try desperately today for a no spend.

  • Right thats 12 items on e-bay. about 20 to go !! I get soooooooo bored doing this but will be worth it if I even clear about £50 to go towards ARGOS bill. x
