I'm actually off work ill, Red, with stress and pins and needles and other personal things.
I should have had a doctors appointment in the morning but the surgery rang and said the doctor had to go home ill today herself, wow a doctor ill, never heard that one before. :rotfl: No really, hope she is alright.

The next appointment is with her husband on Friday, hee hee, he is also a doctor silly people, :rotfl: :rotfl: .

Then I'm off to warm sunny Spain. I'm missing my husband as he is already over there.
He said he feels bad that I am ill and he is over there, should he should too.;)

Anyway having one more glass of Lambrusco, I love fizzzy wine, yum, and then off to bye byes.

  • Hey all. It is a nightmare for me at the mo trying to get on the computer. My DD has discoverd boys, bebo and msn in that order so she has a battle with me for getting on. Who am I to cramp her style. Will need to order the cable for her laptop ASAP and then comp will be all mine again. Thanks for the congrats and I feel much much better now but a rotten cold makes you feel mega miserable.
Red dont you dare leave us. You need to inspire us. We all want to be where you are at. SS I dont do spreadsheets as I am a bit of a computer numptie but I am never off of my internet banking and whats the cost etc. I also do endless lists and sums to make sure there is enough money in my account to pay everything. As you said I just used to lift money if it let me and worried later. Thank god that has stopped even if the debt is not going down by much. I hated those letters re charges and dont know how many times I was in tears with worrying. Sometimes I am a bit short of cash but I always get there these days and without the stress I had before. Maintenance was in today but still not at the new rate. Funny how when it was to go down he managed to do that within a week but its a different story when it goes up  . Git !!

Buzzbox there is no exam as such just 7 assignments and a project. Thank goodness cos I hate exams. I am hopeless at studying. Dont mind working as I go along bt revision does my head in.
Binnie I love fizzy plonk too. Cava is my fave and ASDA's own is yummy. I like to buy the small bottles 4 for a fiver as I only drink a couple rather than a bottle :o . Well done on the sales BTW and I hope that chin of yours is up xx

    Take care all xx

4 bottles for a fiver MIT, just done my Asda shopping an all, but never looked for them. Just bought the usual Irish Knights, yummy.

Watched Martins show tonight for the first time ever, seeing as though hubbie is in Spain and I got the pick of the telly for a change.
I signed up for 18185 to get cheaper calls and texts.
I've sent my hubbie 4 to Spain already and it only cost me 4p for the lot. Cheers Martin

Not spent anything else today as not been out of the house again. I'm bored now, but daren't venture out as I will spend money I haven't got.
I have to go to the docs on friday so no doubt will need a mortgage for the prescription. :rotfl:

Hugs to you all, bye for now xx
  • Back again. Have discovered that my laptop is still working so have got some access tonight. Binnie our prescription charges have gone down to a fiver in Scotland. Apparently the quarterly and yearly certificates are much cheaper too. Good news for us Jocks :D .
I have worked out my new budget. I need to pay £335 per month to my CC's according to whats the cost to cover the minimum payment. Sometimes I dont seem to need to pay as much as that out per month so I have decided that when I get paid I am going to pay the minimum payments and then any balance of the £335 will be paid off of Argos as that is the first one needing cleared. I have 0% 's ending in June, July and August with them. Paid £43 today but didnt take it off of my totals as I remembered that I added debt to my card last month for my mum's birthday so that should just about cover that :(.

I then have money that i get each week and we live on that BUT if I watch what I am doing then I should be able to pay something off each week from Argos too. Quite a busy month this month mind you but I should at least manage a few pounds each week. Watch this space :)

Phew, glad you'll still let me hang around - I have nowhere else to go:o . I'll try to be as inspirational as I can:rotfl: .

Sorry to hear you're not well binnie, I hope you're feeling better really soon. I'm sure getting some sun and seeing your hubby will help no end. Is there anyway you can send me a glass through the internet? - I'll swap you for my glass of chardonnay. Don't tell my OH, he's a bit of a wine snob, but I adore lambrusco:drool: and I'm still pretty keen (from my college days) on lambrini as well :o - 5 gallon for £1.29, you can't beat it. I very rarely drink wine (the current bottle was an xmas present) because I'm an involuntary shiverer until I've had my third glass. But at least I shouldn't have problems sleeping tonight.

Speaking of which, think I'll be headin off for bed now. It's been a traumatic evening, OH caught a trout and decided to make trout curry, with much swearing, sweating, and nashing of teeth. Despite all the doubts the end product tasted pretty good. Unfortunately I have an almost pathological fear of fish bones so I pretty much had to sieve mine to eat it.

    Night night folks xx

Trout Curry, faints.... Yuk I hate fish of any kind, can't even look at them in the supermarket.

I've had two rather large glasses of Baileys look a like tonight, yum, I'm becoming addicted to it.
Had a lazy day, sat on laptop most of the day except for when mother in law visited.
I had 21 items on Ebay ended without a bid  , whats the world coming to, I was practically giving the stuff away :rotfl: .
It's not what it used to be.

Must go to bed now, I've had the electric blanket on for over an hour on high, yikes  , wait til I get the leccie bill, ooops.

    Night Night, sleep tight

Guess it ain't my week at all, been one of those weeks where you feel frustrated, annoyed and it feels like nothing is going your way. The little things tick me off this week, arghhh and W*nk Bingo is taking me for a ride, the council wants me to jump through hoops to get the payments changed from 10 months to 12 months, royal mail postal thing is taking ages to send me new stamps and my damn bank is taking ages to send me a new card.... *sigh*....

Why does it have to be hard most of the time to get simple things done? Oh well, going to watch something relaxing now... hope you guys had a better week!
Smile more often, it's FREE :hello: Live on £4000 for a year stalker! :p
  • trout curry * boaks* . Red omg that is just minging. My kids asked me tonight what was for dinner and I told them sh*te with sugar on it and they just said thats not even funny any more mum. I am going to try trout curry on them tomorrow lol see what they say to that.
My work is annoying me today. It was soooooooooo hot in the office and we are not allowed to open the windows as the noise is too loud from the road. We were bloody melting. Had 2 fans on but was still hell. I put the word woohoo in an e-mail to a new manager and was frowned upon  . Forgot to cc my own manager into another e-mail, that was frowned upon. F*ck sake I wish they'd get a life:confused: .
Binnie that is rubbish re e-bay. Really annoying and will have cost you to list the items too. Buzz I think you are just wanting one of my dodgy cuddles !! Well I dinnae pander to fetishes lol so you're no getting one. A wee pat on the back for comfort in riendly fashion instead. God I talk such pish lol.
Didnt spend too much today. Had lunch in the canteen and it was rotten as usual. Had to take bunny to the vets as we thought she was having a problem with her bum. Just turns out she is a dirty beggar and we had to pay £17 for a wee bottle of shampoo:eek: . Pets and kids. I would be rich in money without them but way way poor in other ways so I will just be skint and happy :D . Ok my bed is calling me . Takecare xx

lol guys, it doesn't sound too appetising does it:rotfl: . Actually, trout doesn't really have much flavour so it didn't really taste any different to chicken, but it certainly wasn't as nice as the thai chilli trout fishcakes he made. It's all a case of getting the spices right - and it's very DF (but I'm very glad that he generally throws them back).

Wooooooooooooohoooooooooo MIT's boss :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Yes they need to get a life, why are people so serious all the time, especially bosses. The world is tough enough as it is, they just need to laugh a little.

Rung my husband in Spain tonight, was on for ten mins or so and only cost me 80p to his mobile n all.
That was because of Martins recommendation on last nights programme.:money:

It's showing rain when I get there boo hoo, but keeps changing on the forecast everyday when I check. I just hope for a few days of sun, even that would be nice.

Sat on my backside all day and done nowt, except for playing on My Space, and Ebay. Listened to lots of Glam Rock tunes, I love em.

Going to docs tomorrow to get checked out, bet he says "I'm best seeing my own doctor" as they usually do. Well I would if I could get an appointment with her :p

Off to bed soon and might just have a glass of Baileys as a night cap, hic
