:easter: :EasterBun :easter_ba HAPPY EASTER ALL

Poor me had to work Good Friday and today, no extra money either, or day off in lieu, pooh, bah humbug boss.

Got five eggs between me and hubbie and already polished one off :EasterBun

Had a really busy day at work today, talk about serving loads of people, I was rushed off me feet, they have too much money some folks.

    I only spent 55p today , 20p on a hot milk/choccie, 15p on toast, and 20p on coffee.
Even took my own butties in, well wonders never cease. I felt quite proud of myself.

Not had a bad day on Ebay either, to say not a sausage sold yesterday :rotfl:

    Hi Guys, Happy (belated) Easter:icotbaske

Well despite the pantish weather I've had a pretty nice Easter weekend. But the budget and diet have been trashed. I will still pay off the credit card before 1st April, but only because I get paid on 31st March:rolleyes: (and we may well have to live on dry pasta until then:rotfl: ). The good thing is that, same as MIT, nothing I've eaten tasted as good as I expected it to so I think I've managed to get all my cravings out of my system (except for cheesecake, I will still willingly kill anyone I see brandishing lemon cheesecake). I've also ordered a lateral thigh trainer from Amazon with some of the vouchers I've got so I'm expecting buns of steel by May! x

Do you know it costs £3.50 for a toastie on the train!! It was pretty minging as well and then when I got home I bought a fish supper as I was too tired to cook. Heading to my bed now xx

  • Hello hello!! I have almost caught up with my sleep. Wrote the report on my meeting today AND SIGNED DIVORCE PAPERS and sent them off  . I have made the conscious decision that when the divorce comes through then I am going to treat that like a start of my new life. I am determined to change things. I want to lose weight. Lose the debt and start having a life for me. Sounds like a plan to me and I just hope I manage to do it swiftly. Going to join the shopping challenge again and get back into the swing of making lunches. I keep saying this and not doing it :o but I need to change my life as it is so bloody boring. I am going to go for promotion again at the first opportunity as well. Watch this space for me zooming around doing it all :rotfl: . I hope everyone is well xx

P.S my debt has increased this month and I am disgusted at myself :o . Well not really disgusted as such but a bit annoyed. tbh not even that annoyed :p .

  • Eeeww I have a horrible stinky cold. Must have been sitting in Newcastle station the other day. I am feeling miserable.
Took DS to pics last night. Saw the spiderwick chronicles (not bad) and we went to an all you can eat chinese buffet ( yum yum). Spent nearly £40 though:o . I hardly ever get time with him himself though so we really enjoyed ourselves. I have lain on the couch today feeling sorry for myself. I need to go to ASDA and just cant get the energy to get going. I am going to lie and watch Most Haunted with a blanket over me tonight and be suitably moany . I got my Virgin card so I better sign on to their site and see when my first payment is due so I dont miss it. I still have £1000 on it but will just leave it incase I dont manage to pay off my Argos account in time. Will need to update my siggy when everything is sorted out and settled. Am going to use any extra money I get this month to pay off Argos as it is the first thing that has its 0% ending on it. I am still waiting on money from Quidco for my house insurance. Its outwith the 12 weeks for raising a query so I will just have to hope it comes through as it is £100.
Called the tax credits to give my earnings for the year so I hope it doesnt make a lot of difference to my money from them. Knowing my luck my maintenance will increase and my tax credits will go down  .
I look really attractive just now as I have a paper tissue stuck up my nose to stop it running  . I'm sure the look will catch on . Ok am away to dope myself up again with paracetamol and have a wee snooze. Take care. xx

  • Good Morning
Had 10 hours sleep last night so feeling a bit more alive today. Kids are going to their dads this afternoon so I will just have a nice rest again and try and get rid of this before going to work tomorrow. I really shouldnt go in and spread my germs but they are really clamping down on the sick leave just now and it means you are scared to take time off.

Sdjaye never mind lurking join in any time you want. Everyone is welcome for a chat.
Red I am going to go down to the shops today and get some lemsips as I am sure they will help. Even if they dont I love them :D . I am sure a big bar of chocolate will help too. The chocolate will soothe my poor throat ;) .
Pay day tomorrow so need to get organised and try and get these totals down a bit this month. I'd like to be under 12k by the time I go on holiday in July. I really want down to £10k by Christmas. I have £25 in Boots vouchers from surveys and I cant decide whther to sell them on e-bay or hold onto them for Christmas or stock up on toiletries for the year. Decisions, decisions. My life is so exciting:rolleyes: . I'll be back later as I have loads of stuff to catch up with on here. xx

Can you split up the boots vouchers? Save half of them for christmas presents and use the other half on toiletries, killing two birds with one stone.
Smile more often, it's FREE :hello: Live on £4000 for a year stalker! :p

Fortunately it is a medical fact that chocolate is good for a sore throat (and you can safely mix it with paracetamol without risking an overdose):D .

On the gift vouchers you'll probably get more for your money if you keep them for christmas presents as boots are always doing loads of 3 for 2 deals then, and you can generally get everyday toiletries cheaper from superdrug or wilkos (should say that quietly or the boys will be round to take back my advantage card, on which over time I've managed to amass over £400 of points so clearly I follow my own advice:rolleyes: )
