  • Thanks Wendy. If he doesnt pay it the CSA will arrest his wages (again) so I will get it eventually.

Red I didnt see you asking what it was sorry.........cant decide whether to tell you or not now........:p

It is a wee book that you can use to follow the mass service along with the priest. My mum is at church nearly every day and has seen other old biddies with these and has decided she 'needs' one. Apparently there is a wee shop in Glasgow in Royal Exchange square , but I was at a meeting in Glasgow today and went where I thought it was but the place is called Nelson Mandela Place. Dunno if I got the place wrong or if they changed the name.:o :rotfl: . I gave up and sneaked home early. I am on strike next week for 2 days so I will take my mum up then and she can pick it herself.

I would love to be a fly on the wall when ex gets his new assessment. What bugs me though is that as soon as there is a change in his circumstances that means he can reduce his payments he calls CSA immediately to report it. Did he tell them he was earning more?? Did he h*ll !!**!! . It's not as if I am a wasteful person and he must realise that. Just about every penny that comes into this house is spent on the kids I hardly spend anything on myself. Git. I wonder how on earth I married him as looking back he was always a selfish git. I'm sure many others feel the same about exes lol and thats why they are exes.
Kids had school dinners again today :o . My lunch was provided and it was rather tasty so that was good. Work will pay my expenses and I got home 2.5 hours early so a good day. I hope you are all good xx

  • Hello.
I have had a nice cheap day. Spent £2.40 on 2 bags of chips mind you as I had a craving for chips and I dont have a deep fat fryer. I could have made oven chips but I wanted full fat greasy ones :D . Had them with sausages and beans. Was delish and totally unhealthy. I have had no sweets, biccies, cakes or crisps for 5 weeks now and I am totally gagging for it lol ( chocolate I mean of course :p ) .

I cant remember if I said I was on strike next week for 2 days  . I am looking forward to 4 days off but will be greeting when I get the 2 days off of my wages at the end of the month. I'm sure I'll manage. Will help the weight loss if I cant afford to eat :).

    Laters xx

Ah I see. Not sure what CofE calls them but I remember them from church parade. The bits in bold are where you're all meant to join in. Oddly, when my Godson was christened, despite the church being packed (with plenty of regular churchgoers, not just the weddings, christenings and funerals brigade), nobody joined in when the vicar got to the bold bit. Totally threw the poor chap as it was his first christening.

  • Good evening.
Jeez I feel like a professional mourner. Was at a funeral yesterday and another one today. I hate going to these things but sometimes you have just got to.

Went to ALDI today for my shopping. Spent £38. Thats great but I dont actually feel as if I got anything. Both kids are having friends stay over tomorrow and I spent most of that on junk food for them. Took them to mcD's tonight as well. They hardly ever get treats like that so they were mega pleased. That is way better than having them expect a McD's as their right :D . I had one too which is not exactly good for the diet.
I have lost 10 and 3/4 lbs so I am pretty pleased with that. Still lots to go but I am not harassing myself too much into trying to lose it very quickly.

I have totally overspent on my shopping this month but will hopefully make it to the end of the month without too much damage. Hope everyone is doing well xx

Don't know if this helps MIL but is Royal exchange square not around GOMA and Rogano? and Nelson Mandela Place just above urban outfitters in Buchanan Street I think.

P.S. well done on the weight loss!

Very pleased for you MIT, hope all goes well for you.
Funny, but I haven't been getting any emails when you have all replied, and I have subscribed to this thread.

Been off work with a poorly bottie, too vulgar to talk about on here, but it was very painful
Will have to be better for Monday as my works are relocating then and I will be very much needed for the mad rush to open the new store.

    xxx

Hope your cold is better Red
