Good idea ZTD I used to do this for them and I am surprised at my canny self for forgetting about making my own. The 2 of them love them but I hate them eating the damn things full of cr*p.
Aww Red poor you :grouphug: dodgy cuddle for you. Sometimes paracetamol is as good as anything for this type of thing. In saying that I always use Lemsip as I think they feel like an internal cuddle. Need to head to ASDA tonight as I really need to get ink for my printer and it is cheapest in there. Going to seeif I can scrounge any coathangers whilst I am in there as I have completely run out of them. Kids keep breaking the cheapo ones. Have some more stuff to put onto e-bay before I head out. DS is all excited as someone has bid on his stuff. I think he reckons he will become rich doing this lol. Silly boy.
I watched the top 40 bits from Vicar of Dibley on the telly last night and I was howling laughing. I had to download the song 'it should have been me' today as I think it is amazing. It is roaring in my ears right now. No doubt next time I am at a karaoke night and have had a couple of sips of the falling down water I'll be reckoning I'm Yvonne Fair and giving it laldy :rotfl: . Why is it that when you are sober you know you cant sing but when drunk you think you can sing like an angel. Hmm perhaps thats just me .
Just realised today that I actually need to save £300 per month to make sure I pay no interest to ARGOS or SONY before November:eek: . How much can I get for a kidney??. I could maybe sell a child
.
I scan my shopping every week and had enough points to get a new quilt for my bed. Saving now for the pillows. Can't wait till I get it I'll be all nice and cosy.

Hiya Ladies, and Lads,
The loan sounds like it might happen. They are sending me the papers out to sign on monday and then they want the last three months wage slips which i have, but can't find hubbies. He gets paid weekly and they build up so much, we throw them away, ooops.
What do we do now. They can see his wage going in the bank every week and could they not contact his works for proof??
I have promised myself, I won't get anymore loans or cards in my name.
My husband will just have one credit card with a low credit limit, then when we go abroad, we can use it for the petrol on the car hire.
They always make you use a credit card, not a debit card nor cash.
We only have 5 years 5 months on the mortgage, and the other mortgage is 5 year 11 month.
The new loan which I will pay will save me quite a lot per month and it's a tracker mortgage for 5 years, then will sort the rest of the two years out after that.
We have passed the credit check, so all we need now is a solicitor who we pay about £100 to, not sure what for, but there are no suerveyors fees or set up for the mortgage.
I say if I can pay the loans now and the cards, then paying the mortgage should be easier as it is less per month.
I've told every credit card company in the world to ban me.ha ha

Hi Red, hope you feel a bit better xx
I use dto warm some lemonade in the mircrowave and take 2 paracetomols and they acted like a hot lemon and much cheaper, they worked too.
Also taking soluble aspirin is good as it gets into your system quicker.
Lots of hugs.
MIT, pm me your ebay username and I will see what you are selling, might be somethings I want.

Done Binnie. You are so lucky to only have a few years mortgage left. I still have 22:eek: .
I went to ASDA tonight as I needed a few things. I needed coat hangers and I asked for free ones and got them. Not fussed on these plastic things but no spare funds at themoment to buy good wooden ones. I bought black and brown shoes ( as my feet are really looking like minks at the mo). Bought ink for printer and a new iron. All absolutely necessary. £107  . !!!!!! !!!!!!. I am very doubtful of reaching my £300 target this month. Bleeding heck. I have applied for another 0% card. This one runs for 15 months so if I get it then I will have 7 months ( after paying off ARGOS and SONY) to hammer as much as I can into that. The Halifax card can just be paid off as and when. It seems to be going down quite quickly anyway. Once I have paid off the cards then I am going to get a 0% deal and pay off the remainder of the car and then keep going with 0% or low interest for the secured loan and pay it off in chunks. I am rubbish at saving whereas I am for some reason now really good at paying stuff off. Anyway bedtime for me xx

Woohoo:j . Sounds like a plan to me. Better take they summer frocks off of e-bay then if I'm going to need them:D .
Just won another £20 on bingo. I got a £10 freebie in in the post today so £20 profit. I am waiting on quidco paying out for Norwich Union but am a bit dubious as the date has changed from March until April. Topcashback are due to pay me £30 odds at end of month too. I have ordered £15 of Boots vouchers and I have 18 watchers on e-bay. Hopefully I will near enough get my first £300 . I will have to think up new ways of earning soon. I might have a look again at matched betting and see how I get on with that. I've done pretty well off of the bingo so far so if I get my head round MB'ing I'll have a wee go.
We all had bought lunches today. I need to stop this. Tomorrow DS wants to have school dinner as it is chocolate fudge cake for pudding so after that we will get back onto packed lunches. xx

I am happy happy happy. After years of trying to get a decent maintenance assessment I ahve at last got it sorted today. Within the last year I have managed to get it increased from £5 per week to nearly £50. I have 2 kids so I dont think £50 is unreasonable and OMG it will help us soooooooo much. I will be more than £100 better off. No doubt there will be a fight coming up now but I dont care as it will be worth it to be able to take my kids out every so often. I am so excited. I bet it goes t*ts up somehow lol5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Hey guys:hello:
Back in the land of the living (well relatively). Thanks for all the tips guys, I may well still make use of them (except the lemsip - hot fruit - bleuurgg!!), as I'm finally starting with the sniffles to accompany the lead lungs, hacking cough and sinus headache. At least I think this means it's progressing.
Have transferred the last of the money for my ISA (bum, forgot to update my sig), so just the last cc to deal with. Just need to keep the spends in check.
Congratulations on the maintenance MIT. But you still haven't said what a mass missal is - come on, the suspense is killing me! x1st April 2008 challenge:mad: xmas overspend = [strike]£254.05[/strike] £0:j......cc1 = [strike]£240.78[/strike] £0:j .......cc2 = [strike]£667.47[/strike] £0 :j ...amount owed to ISA = [strike]£1599.90[/strike] £0:jTOTAL TO GO = [strike]£2762.20[/strike] £0 !!! DONE IT DONE IT DONE IT!!!:dance:0
