I suggest that you keep venting on here, keep your vitamins up and batten down the hatches for the storm.
Good luck.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -
Thank you. It went how I was expecting. So OH excluded. Aunt and SIL going through MILS clearing out stuff and expecting OH to take remove the bulky items, items of no value.
OH not included in funeral arrangements. Comments started about me etc.0 -
apparently I am an evil !!!!! who is out for what she can get.
They dont know why I was even there it should have just been family etc etc etc0 -
So sad and so predictable.
Your OH doesn't actually have to do the bulk clearing if he doesn't want to, you know. And once it is all gone he never, ever, ever has to have contact with them again. If it was me I wouldn't bother.
I suggest that OH cherishes the best bits of his mother's passing and then just walks away from the whole mess. He can attend the funeral but, tbh, I wouldn't attend the wake in his shoes. It is going to be foul.

not said to me you notice,
My boy will sort the furniture, he has a strong sense of duty.
Hopefully work will allow me to store it here so I can at least give him a break for some stuff.
Cats protection have given me a list of vets for my new addition, they offered to rehome him for me but not going down that route, my boy would never forgive himself if that happens0 -
they have stuck all of my MILs clothes in bin bags in the kitchen they are horrible people.0

Unless she is in rented social housing and they have to be out in a week, this really is not the time to be clearing out.
That waits until after the funeral. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
she is in social housing, I know its usually a week but ours allow you up to a month (longer as I know the CEO and they are aware of this)
Not even got a death certificate yet, she would be so upset.0 -
Talk about circling vultures!!!!!!!!!If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

I am so upset about it.
Sorted somewhere for the furniture, my lovely boss is allowing me a whole room in a commercial building hes just bought (can have a floor if I want)
Getting my new boy some lovely food, need to sort him some of MILs clothing out will help get him settled me thinks.
They are just horrible people, I need to try to hold onto my sanity and keep calm for my beautiful husband who I am proud of for being almost normal.0
