I'm sorry Melly, for the both of you.
Might it be worth turning the phones off tonight to give you both a bit of peace - there's nothing anyone can do now, if the funeral directors have arranged to come to fetch her. Any other arrangements can wait till you've both rested and you don't need any more hassle from anyone right now.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

No, I know. It's horrible watching someone grieve, wanting to take it all away and you can't. Just look after yourself as best you can - the adrenaline will wear off at some point and you don't want to crash. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

!!!!!! they could and should have loaded her up. She was in a ridiculous amount of pain so much she was moaning whilst in the bloody coma.
My dad wasn't in that much pain once they got the pump on him. It should never have worn off0 -

That can happen anyway, sometimes the reflexes kick in. That doesn't excuse the nurses not doing their bit, but it may not have been as bad for her as it looked to you watching. Perhaps that'll keep SIL off your back for a bit if she's on a mission to hold people accountable? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
