And obviously because he had yesterday off he's blaming himself for the pain. I don't know what he thinks he could do but my job is to try and stop him blaming himself for stuff.

He's called to tell me it will be tonight, I am leaving where he is up to him

yes - I should imagine she is now almost comatose? and yes, there should be a complaint. to leave a terminally ill woman in pain, without pain relief..............that beggars comprehension!
take him through it logically melly - could he have gone out and bought morphine? NO!
could he have FORCED anyone to come with morphine for her? NO - she was scheduled to have morphine - I don't know what went wrong, but, SOMEBODY (and it wasn't OH or to be fair, anyone in the family) screwed up.

had to remove this part - I don't want others seeing it.
there was absolutely NOTHING he could have done. at least she is not in pain now and her passing should be peaceful.

Yes she's in a coma now, he knows that really I think but as you know logic goes away.

I have even done the cleaning cycle on the washing machine.

Our sensitive boy dog turned his nose up at ham (needed it hand fed) he also didn't go nuts when I gave OH a huge hug when he came back they will also help him I think.

I understand Meri. I saw it and I knew what you meant. If anyone wanted to take that the wrong way they would have a very angry Melly to deal with

Why? If he wants me there he will say.

It would be hypocritical she needs her children there and they are

I think even with all the differences if you know his mum is going to die tonight, you might want to be there, because you know he probably wont say if hes trying to hold it together.

He might want you there even if he cant express it right now

I am here for my husband. He would say if he wanted me there and he hasn't and doesn't he wants to sit with his mum which he is doing without worrying about me.

Sorry purpleshoes that upset me a little which I don't think was your intention.

My OH will tell me if he wants me there, he hasn't and I am going to be guided by him, going round now to me would be hypocritical and would only be something I would do if my OH wanted me to.
