He's going back round there now.
He's asked me if I mind him telling his mum she has options if she wants to stay at home, with the help that's been offered that apparently the aunt has turned down we will care for her I have agreed.
I think that if he makes the offer and it's turned down it will help him get his head round not his fault.
I emailed nice nephew a few days ago about some plants he covets no response
I am giving him till Friday then I am going to email him to let him know I am disappointed but he knows where we are0 -
Right, he didn't get back in so Def the safeguarding team tomorrow.
He is obviously being an idiotic grouch so have sent him to his mates in order to try and get some peace0 -
I agree - she needs the safeguarding team. Some of the 'Family' members need a good scare put into them though. Stealing from a dying woman is a totally despicable thing to do.
I think Melly that 'someone' thought your MIL was softening towards your OH - and this was done to deprive him out of pure greed.0 -

I agree, I also think it's two someone's and they have been clearing her out the last few hospital stays. Hence the key needing to be given back, not allowing him to be on his own with her and when that failed accusing him of assault.
Tonight he said he can't look at the aunt he's so disgusted so he might just call his mum. I think that's what they want.0 -
of course that's what they want melly. They don't want him around that's for sure.0
-
I also think that he will hate himself for not seeing her.
Have broached the safeguarding idea with him he wants to think about it so softly softly, it needs to be his idea so it doesn't come between us (other thing they want)0 -
and melly - now that MIL knows her jewellery has gone - don't be surprised if they accuse your OH of taking it.0

Already prepared for that Meri. Apparently aunts face was a picture she went white (same as when he was there when MIL told mcmillan that aunt was putting her in a hospice)
We don't have a key thankfully so can't be us........
They didn't think that bit through0 -
greedy people are often stupid people too. its awful for your OH though. its bad enough dealing with end of life situations without adding Family troubles and theft.0
-
Don't think they were expecting her to find out.
This is why hospice suddenly as MIL has started giving away her stuff they were trying to get her out the way before she found out.
She's a horrid woman but this is despicable0
