If it's a morphine prescription, they can be a beggar to get hold of. Not all pharmacies stock it as they don't want the risk of being robbed. (Or maybe that's just the area I live in.). Hope you manage to get it sorted without too much hassle.

When the doc wrote it, he told them some of it would need to be ordered in and it would be Monday.
The problem is this is yet another stick to beat OH with, so the prescription wasn't dropped off as it's more fun to accuse my OH of not doing it rather than oh we will have it on monday

Taken tramadol migraine started and hands wrecked.

Tomorrow I am picking the !!!!ing prescription up and dropping it straight round,I am going to refuse to go in as I am not family and we are not trusted to put in a prescription. Going to make sure they know watching the vultures circling is funny and that SIL only spends time with Aunt so she will leave her the house.

Then I am going to let them sort it out, not going back round stuff em.

melly, I would rethink the comment about 'vultures' - I can see that backfiring, as they will then immediately say 'oh they just want the house and cut SIL out'!


I would just deliver the meds, and depart. far more frustrating for them as they have nothing to complain about.

We both know having nothing to complain about won't stop em.

I am reacting like this because how dare they judge me by their standards, I have watched my nan, aunt and dad die of cancer and would never not get a script for meds straight in.

OH dealt with them because he knows me and he knows I am beyond angry. They treat him like !!!!! believe his sisters !!!!!!!! and I have had enough

melly - bide your time. as much as I think your MIL is a beetch - she is at her end of life and if morphine is needed, its weeks now or days. she doesn't need family fighting on doorstep.
just go in - and let her know she had to have meds specially ordered for her, and you got them as soon as they came in. ignore everyone else.
as much as I disliked my MIL - I certainly didn't want to cause her any more pain or strife in her last days.
the time will come when you can let these people know what you think of them.

OH has taken it.
It's the inference that I would sit on the prescription of a dying woman this tells me they would. I would not no matter what my feelings for her are.

She's going in a hospice she doesn't want to, the aunt has just told my OH it's his fault
