Aw, Stripey looks comfy! You know, I haven't been able to track down an alien like yours? I can't have one quite the size of Alan sadly because he would take over the flat but I would like one the size of Kevin and Fred. Actually, can I just move in with you? You won't notice me, I'll hang out with the kitties in the corner.

MIL got Alan for OH he is a very heavy alien as he is made from resin.

Kevin (the knight) came from tk maxx I think

Fred was bought in Cornwall on the holiday with MIL

Odd things

I got upset at a new flavour of J20 last week (would have got it for MIL)she did many things wrong but not all

SIL (who is still alive) blanked me in the supermarket last week. Don't worry I laughed which I think annoyed her

When you are fragile the strangest things will get to you.

I remember being floored because one year I saw the perfect wrapping paper for a Christmas present for my grandmother - four years after she died. I was absolutely in pieces, though I had been okay before.

Today I am not floored, I am baffled. We are going to a barbecue today where the hosts have two dogs. I ordered two dog toys as part of the delivery. They substituted two squeaky chickens with one chewy ring. As I pointed out, not really the most awesome substitute.

Having said that, Tesco have been pretty good on the customer service front for a few years, so I'll let them off. DH is picking up an extra toy and I shall have doggy cuddles all afternoon. Especially off the one who is part lab and all dustbin.

Sending hugs. Be kind to yourself. After everything you can't flick a switch and re-set to 'normal'. Take care.
