Neither of ours mind the cat carriers. In our other house which was bigger the carriers stayed open in their sleeping room, with a blanket in each so they were in and out of them all the time. One cat used to hide her treasures (things she had stolen like drill bits, small toys etc) in hers. The carriers aren't out all the time now, but if we want to take them somewhere I usually bring the carriers indoors a couple of days before we need to use them and let the purry monsters get used to them again.0

I don't know if this will help or not but a sewing lady I follow on FB bought a side opening carrier for her cat that hated going in the top opening one. He used to fight her when she tried to get him in the top opener but he went in like a lamb with the side opener. Not sure if it is possible to turn the top opener so the opening is on the side.0

It's worth looking for one grandma thank you.
On pickles thread it talks about stripes potential health issues I need to get him back next Friday for his other test.
The vet thought he might be felv because of how stinky his breath was and how very very thin he was. He tested negative but they wanted to test again in 6 weeks to make sure.
The precautions we had taken anyway were sufficient (it's spread by mutual grooming sharing food etc.) To keep the other two safe.
I don't think he is as his breath is so much better and he looks much better I think he was starving to death.
Tomcat was let out by genius last night and guess what, isn't back.
OH is pretty bad, having a pain flare up and is asleep about 18 hours in total (the wake time is early hours so not good)0 -
Hope tomcat is back soon!
When the vet came to check on evil cat, our lovely next door neighbour had to hold her down while wearing welding gloves.
That's one reason why I always used to have chocolates bought and ready to give the vet after there was serious attacks. If the neighbour wasn't available then they used to bring a vet nurse as it needed a massive effort.
Maybe you need to put butter on tomcat's paws.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -
