It is with regret that I wish to tender my resignation effective immediately. The situation with both my Mother in Law and Sister in Law has worsened and I have spent the holiday period in two separate hospitals, I do not know when this situation will improve and would not cope with the travel, work and care I currently need to be available to give to my husband and niece so it would not be fair to xxxxx for you to wait for the situation to improve.

I am sorry for the lack of meaningful notice I had hoped that the situation would improve over Christmas unfortunately this has not been the case.

I will send my door fob and the shredit keys in marked for your attention xxxx, luckily to ensure I wasn't tempted to work I left my mobile and laptop in my desk.

I wish you all every success for the future and would like to thank you! for! the! opportunity.

Feel alot better I am gain 10 hours from the commute alone OH is gaining 25 hours that should help with the ability to cope

Sooooo finally persuaded the SIL to have the op just waiting for a cancellation MIL actually genuinely said 'who will get my prescription if your recovering'

melly - I applaud you and OH for sticking by this vile woman. all I can advise is that you and OH take care of YOURSELVES FIRST! because, hunny, it helps no-one if you exhaust yourselves and become ill.

Today I have been work advisor/auntie extrodinaire.
Sorted out nephews cv got him on LinkedIn sorted him out a mentor etc all going really well . Nephew was taking it in and joking then phone call dreaded voice complaining on ansaphone.
OH called her back and got chewed out for not answering immediately and she claimed to have fell oddly didn't want the hospital (which she does when she's really fallen over ) told we are sorting nephew out she launches into tirade about his wedding and upsets him

No need to listen - put the phone down as soon as she starts being nasty.

This week SILs op was cancelled, MIL has been a nightmare oh and the 22 year old and his girlfriend are pregnant.
Have been horrid and told OH they are not coming here.

Not horrid at all! You have more than enough on your plate and if he's old enough to get his gf pg, he's old enough to sort out accommodation for them both/all. Best of luck with everything else x
