I used to earn my living by being ahead of the IT curve. Just shows how easily you can fall behind. This is all a bit alien to me.
Can anyone explain what DOS means? :think:Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

The Whites Mrs Bailiff could do with some retraining. Or studying the law, first telling a man it was illegal to not have a car registered to his home address, then telling a woman she has to come in and make an inventory of her goods in the house.
No wonder she has a big nose.
Poor girl on her way to her driving test when the instructors car gets seized!0 -
Well I learnt something new on the progs........broken yellow lines no longer make a PCN invalid.
Apparently went to a ruling at the appeal court.0 -
That is true. I bored my OH by saying 'she'll lose' or 'he'll win because...' at the adjudications just before the decision was given!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

At one point, she started looking round the room for hidden cameras and microphones.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -
As a blue badge holder I was pleased to see people being challenged but a bit concerned that unless I missed it the guy inspecting blue badges only told people who he claimed to be and didn't show any identification and was not in a uniform. So when it gets to court couldn't any evidence he gathered from the people be challenged as inadmissible.
From Blue Badge R&R booklet.
Power to inspect
the badge
Police officers, traffic wardens, parking
attendants and civil enforcement officers
have the power to inspect the badge.
These people should produce an identity
card with their photograph on it to prove
they are who they say they are.0 -
The Blue Badge detective seemed on the ball, I am sure he would have shown some ID at some point it just would have been edited out of the final cut.0

I felt that part of the programme was very good as it clearly said it's a criminal offence to use a Blue Badge that isn't yours when that person isn't with you or being collected by you (and people are surprised - WHY?!). Trouble is by putting it in the middle of a mixture of other 'parking stuff' and showing the Police wrongly helping the blonde bint from Whyte & co., stop drivers in the street, muddies the waters.
Blue Badge fraud is just...fraud, clearly and simply - and should not be lumped in with blonde bint bailiffs driving round Worthing looking to get hundreds of quid for a £30 PCN that they pretend they've visited 3 times before about.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

She is very good at faking sincerity when lying about her powers to enter peoples houses.0
