Were the PCN's they were being pulled over for the civil ones, or were they Penalty Charge Notices (PCN). In which case the police do sometimes run joint operations with councils and Transport for London etc.

Bailiff action is always civil action. Not criminal.

They were for real Council PCNs. Absolutely hated that whiny droning woman from Whytes. I recall some awful shenanigans from Whyte & Co. documented over the years on pepipoo forum. I bet Herbie would have some tales to tell about them - to me it was a notorious name as soon as I heard it.

Loved it when they had to remove the clamp, near the start of the programme, as the ownership of the car was under question. The Whytes drony woman had tried her best to tell him it didn't matter and he had to pay but she lost. GOOD.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Anpr - who is accessing the data (assuming the DVLA data to know who the Reg Keeper is

You do not need the DVLA data for ANPR, you juts put the reg. details of the vehicles you are looking for or want to identify on your own data base.

Just watching this weeks edition and the guy who parked on zig zag lines didn't have the car taken away because it was his mothers motability car. Asked what he was doing today " taking the wife to work". Think motability might be contacting his mother quite soon.

Are you sure that the person who's Motability car it is needs to be in it? What happens if it's being used to pick up the person? Think you are on the wrong track here

Your right they dont need to be in the car but if their not it needs to be being used for their benefit eg. shopping for them don't think a designated driver taking a relative to work will count.

But you don't know if that was the only activity being done, he could have been going shopping for that person also. I'm not defending that person, all I'm saying is that you only see an edited version of the incident. And I haven't seen the programme but was the reg number on show?

Kira Fleck (aka Anjna Patel, President of the BPA Ltd) in full flow in tonight's programme.

Why does she need 2 names? Hmmmm

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
