And if i've got the correct company, their website is non compliant too.And Whyte & Co don't appear to exist as a legal entity, so who are they then? They do have a number of certified bailiffs under their name.

Yeah that's them. But they don't exist, that company listed above has only just been incorporated, and there is nothing on that website to suggest they are trading as Whyte & Co. So who are they? How does a council/s have anything to do with a company who on the face of it doesn't exist? When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

I suppose they could have been a sole trader/partnership until recently and the incorporated themselves.
Their site does say they have been in business since the 80's (if you believe it).0 -

On what grounds are you saying the website isn't compliant?
I've noticed they haven't put their company registration number anywhere or said that they are limited. That's all I can see. Oh and there's no list of directors or information on where to find out who the directors are.0 -

Even a sole trader must identify themselves.

I thought PCNs are a civil matter so how were the police assisting the bailiffs in stopping cars. If it was me I would just carry on driving passed.
I watched a video on Youtube not long ago by someone who got pulled over by a bailiff via the police. When asked about it being a civil matter the police bod let him on his way without seeing the bailiff.0 -
But the stupid thing is that they were pulling people into a bus stop, committing another parking offence to pay a previous parking fine!Deleted_User wrote: »I thought PCNs are a civil matter so how were the police assisting the bailiffs in stopping cars. Were the PCN's they were being pulled over for the civil ones, or were they Penalty Charge Notices (PCN). In which case the police do sometimes run joint operations with councils and Transport for London etc.0
