No point giving a private trade body more credibility than they deserve.

    From the BPA Ltd.
The four programmes will feature some BPA members. The BPA was involved in discussions with producers before filming commenced, providing advice and insight into the parking profession.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Simply remove the -on from the end and its spot on!

Interesting to see the bailiffs supported by the police, pulling people into a bus stop for failing to pay parking fines!!

Who were the bailiffs ? Think I heard white bailiffs or something. Utter scumbags ramping up costs unlawfully, I hope these people who pay get help with getting money back

At the risk of being flamed, I have to admit that I was siding with the Parking Attendants most of the time. They get abused day in, day out for doing their job!

Frankly, the main reason why people hate on them is because they were fined, and want someone to blame. They were in the wrong! If you break the rules, you get a fine. Simple.

The only exceptions where parking attendants are seemingly "unfair" is when a ticket is clearly inappropriate in retrospect, for example with the elderly disabled gent with the wrong badge, or the man whose ticket fell onto his seat. And, guess what? They were cancelled after the appeal.
You have to remember that these guys aren't mind readers. They don't know that you don't deserve a ticket, they see an illegally parked car and so give it a ticket. If it doesn't deserve one, it will get cancelled during an appeal.

At the end of the day, yes these guys do have certain targets to meet. But EVERY ticket issued on that show yesterday was issued to a car that was illegally parked.

"They should make the train station free?. Then it would be filled up with "Free parkers" all day, plus all the untaxed/uninsured cars- people often use this to avoid parking in the road & getting caught. So only the lucky few could get in anyway.
