I've shoved four plants in a 'new to me' trough and planted a dozen bulbs I pulled up a couple of weeks ago around the bottom of the chopped down leylandi. I'm hoping it'll look pretty next spring if I keep bunging stuff near it, and later in the year I want to pull most of the ivy off and whack a bird table or feeding station on the top of it.

The house is ready and all I've got left to do is cook supper and finish bunging things in an overnight back and then we're off! Yay! See you all on Wednesday sometime.
    Better is good enough.

Evening all, afraid I didn't do anything today except scrub my hob clean. It's all sparkly and shiny now, all ready for DH to spill his tea on tonight..lol

Welcome to the newbies, and the returnees

Woohoo on Valligirl passing, so pleased for you Valli. Now you can be ferried around instead of you doing the ferrying :p

Piggers, I so had to giggle when you posted that your 18yr old asked to go to the shop.. It just shows they have to tell their mum everything..lol

I have eyes everywhere Valli :p

Made a couple of phonecalls to friends, and charged up the tablet so I can play my usual mahjong in bed, before I go to sleep.
Done the doodoo run - oooh it's so much easier with the fake grass now. It just lays on top and I just pick it up..no getting stuck in the mud etc...
Did 10 minutes gardening - popped the flower magic at the bottom of the bird feeder that DH moved from back garden to front garden to accommodate the goldfinches that have come back again this year. We have given them their very own feeder complete with 3 lots of niger seed hanging things. I think they are rather spoilt ...no wonder they came back this year..lol
Am settling down with a cuppa and Masterchef New Zealand (way better than our MC)

She still has to do the practical test, unfortunately.;)

Have cleaned the kitchen; so it looks a LOT better...and have been to a food tasting so that's a bit more £££ to fling at the debts.

  • Well all my good intentions were waylaid again - by phone calls emails and mega financial stuff this afternoon. Not complaining as it is very important.

Tomorrow plan to frog eat all day as must get this paper mountain sorted once and for all. Then another important p/call pm and email.

Perhaps I'll get to Fly on Wed Morning at this rate!!

DH is off from Thursday for the whole of Easter so will have to plan around him and his jobs too.

Will catch up with you all tomorrow. luckily you are all doing well enough for me too so I feel I can afford to coast a little!:)
