Flylady vibes for the Valligirl please.
I'm once again in as far as I can manage this week; I may be a bit flaky though; I have to go for a fasting blood test at 07:10 Thursday morning and already I'm stressing about it big time.:(
We also had a bit of drama earlier - there was a HUGE wasp in the kitchen. Thankfully I managed to persuade it out of the window - it had two choices, leave or be zapped with the electronic tennis racket thingy. I'm allergic to wasp venom, so there was no way I was going to allow it to remain.:eek::eek: I also didn't want to risk the Princesses thinking it'd be a fun thing to chase. Normally, if Mr LW's here, I leave the room and let him deal with the nasty little things, but as he's at work.... well, needs must.;) I still feel a but shaken up though; it keeps going through my head if I got stung, I'd be in deep doo-doo.:(If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
PMSL... my 18 y/o just asked permission to go to the shop!!
I am flinging in my bedroom.. 3 binbags gone so far of rubbish and 1 for charity shop.. and the room is destroyed! I have a mountain of my clothes to put away and a mountain of the childrens to put away.. I have 3 baskets of random detritus to redistribute/bin/sort and boxes of Christmas/birthday stuff I have reshuffled.
Apparently we are having a BBQ this afternoon.. Off to fold some laundry.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

While the Valligirl is theorising (hope you get the hint) I have made a bolognese sauce. Have managed to 'help' DS empty two drawers - he has 11 in his room and 7 are filled with 'stuff' - childhood carp mostly - this is what comes of having somewhere to stash it SO stuff has been binned *fling* or moved/repurposed as appropriate. Mostly flung. This means he now has two drawers for his bedding and towels which have been washed ready to return to Uni! More work needs doing in there but I think little steps the way to go;)
Going to have 15 mins with receipts/accounts now.

Well, I have followed the 'little bit each day' advice and I am getting there. My kitchen is beautiful and the living room is nearly there. Only 3 boxes left to unpack, but they are books and I need a book case to put them in. Next stop the bedrooms! I try to wipe over the bathroom every day and it too is looking very presentable. Thank you all, I continue to read with pleasureI promise that I will do my best.....0

Hello!
Just popping in to let you know that I'm internet less at home at present, so am relying on libraries etc. Flying wise - a bit hit and miss, but more hits these last couple of weeks (thanks to dot-to-dotting).
If I don't get back on before the end of the week, hope you all have happy Easters, welcome back Juliejim and get well soon vibes to Pigpen's household.

Mega congratulations to the Valli-girl. *woot* to quote her mother.
Top layer vac'd, bed remade for Dog Sitter, shower curtains re-hung. Things are starting to fall into place and I might even have the guts to look at my 'Urgent' listy now.Better is good enough.0 -
