:T:T:T Well done Valligirl. Maybe the Fly-Dog Tail-Wags made all the difference.;):D

Talking of which, I'm going to switch off the 'puter now (all my email finished, and spreadsheets all up to date so no need to keep it on, really) and take the Princesses out for their afternoon perambulation.:D Making the most of them, as they're here for one more week, then I have no more bookings til *gulp* July!!.

Just a quick post, will catch up properly while dh out later.
Thank you for the threads and a huge thank you again for all the messages last week, I'm actually feeling a lot better now and ready to tackle things. DH seems ok and isn't letting it get to him. He should have been off for the holidays and as he's getting paid anyway we are going to concentrate on the things that were planned.

Was a late start this morning but was woken by ds shouting the cats been sick all over the sofa. Luckily most of it was on the covers so pulled off, washed and replaced.
    Kitchen swept and cupboards wiped.
Part of worktops cleared and wiped (really need to get that 3rd bit sorted)
    Hob cleaned
Kids sorted, fedx100, lots of tea drank
DH has been shopping about 6 times for car parts and had mechanic here too. Looks like after being off the road for almost 2 years £70 and it may be ready for MOT. Now DH has to decide which he wants to keep.
DW emptied and reloaded (will start it after tea)
    WMx2
    TDx1
Airer emptied and clothes folded ready to go away

DH working on the car still so had a quick catch up...

LameWolf shame your so far away, We need to sort somewhere for our older 2 dogs in July but then again they do pull a lot, DH mum lives across road and usually comes over and feeds them and sorts them (luckily being so close the door can just be left open for them) but his mum has hurt her back so I dont want to ask this year.

Pigpen, hope you and the children feel better soon.

    Congratulations ValliGirl.

Mumto5, Happy birthday to your DS.

Sorry if I've missed anything else, Sending lots of hugs for anyone needing them xx

That's it I've had it. I had the clever idea Friday to buy some fish for Fish pie. The fridge stinks (it's only cod). It needs cooking today. So although I'm tired I'm going to have to make this fish pie - I've never made one before and I won't again. I can't cope with that fish smell. Just debating whether to go for cheese or parsley. I've done cheese sauce for lasagnes and moussakas but parsley is the same really. OH not helpful - you decide he says..

DS3 room all shipshape so we cycled to the town to have tea and cake on JL. Returned stuff to M&S, got a new Tshirt for DS3 and exchanged the library books. Had to walk home as I had a drawing pin in my tyre when I got back to my bike.

Valli - great news on DD

Mumto5 hope DS3 is having a lovely birthday

Half an hour frog eating for me, so don't want to but know I must.

  • Hello lovely flyers,

I've been missing for several months but I hope I can come back... I've let life get too hectic and things have got away from me. I'm taking advantage of the holidays to try and get back on track. I can see that keeping on top of things at home will help keep us all a bit more grounded than we have been.

    So onwards!
