Did lots in garden today, OH is off all week and far more inclined to keep going with stuff than idle me who tends to pick up a coffee and kindle at hourly intervals. I'll be exhausted by the time he goes back to work. Managed to get to gym this evening.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0

Sorry, not done much on the list today. Have done the washing up and 2 loads of washing (still in the house - will be out on the line tomorrow).
However good clutter clearing. Three large boxes of gibble in the hallway have been reeduced to one (the slimmest one) and a collection of bags and boxes also reduced - large rucksack (65litre) and a large bag (actually a small garden planter/herb garden potato bag) filled to the gunnels + side pockets and bits tired on top have left the house never to return. DS3 carried to the bus stop and put it on board, a nice young man offered to carry it off for me and then I sat reading my book on the bench in the station until DS1 turned up to take them away (actually rucksack is mine, so that should come back - but I am a long way from being able to use it for shopping again so one less thing to clutter the hall (great for shopping but too big to hide in a cupboard the rest of the time).
Waiting in for a water meter survey tomorrow morning so plan to take up residence on the sofa with leg up and peel/chop veggies and flit round doing kitchen jobs from time to time - my bedding was changed at the weekend and can't get in DS3's room except when he goes in the bath. His gf comes on Monday (think for a week) so will attack his room when he goes to meet her. He's organised a birthday meal with friends for the following Saturday, so another chance if I don't get beyond dragging out the bedding, pizza box mountain, rubbish, recycling and crockery first time (and finish the tiny bit behind the headboard where the emulsion didn't cover the stain stop).
Arranged a physio appointment for next week and visited exercise class just to say hi - everyone very welcoming, so less worried about going back I will get better. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -

Going to print tomorrows list off ready and pin it up. No excuse to keep coming back to laptop, lol.
Hope you don't mind Charlie - I'm going to pinch your idea! I usually keep my laptop open on the right page ready to edit what I have done - but then I digress! IKNWIM:rotfl:I was doing that to save ink and paper - but time is of the essence here at the moment so will set my timer today and do 30 minutes on and 15 minutes rest until I am sorted.
Not sure how I'll be after that proposed marathon session but will update you later!!!
Looks like it will be a lovely day here = hope it is where you are too. Hugs sticks and spoons where needed xxJuly 16 £95/£200

Morning all
Mothernerd, why is your DS1 not at least helping with his room? Does his girlfriend not comment on the state of it?
Plan is to do laundry and get mine and DS2's bedrooms dusted plus frog eating and shopping. Friend coming later so hope to sit in the garden then. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
morning all
hope everyone is well
msgnomey have a lovely day bird flying is it yours or your DDs birthday today?
mothernerd the only way teen boys learn is if you dont do it all for them, i know from experience that i pander to my kids and have always run round after them. they learned early on if you dont do something properly ill just redo it myself anyway then give up asking and just do it all the time. DS1 is 19 and working and i was still tidying his room and changing his bed! anyway a couple of months ago i decided that i would check for food items while hes at work and leave him a clean set of bedding when needed and IF the floors clear i will dyson when i do the rest of upstairs but im not his skivvy! hes learning, his room will never be 'my way' but hes getting there.
Ate 2 paper frogs last night with DH, one was turning into a bit of a canetoad it was something Dh needed to fill in for work, he kept putting it off thinking it would be hassle, hes been getting emails reminding him to do it from work so last night we did it and it was a 10 minute job basically a next of kin form so all it needed was his details my details and signing. the other one was a follow on paperfrog and that did take a bit longer but both have now left the to do pile.
