The system does seem to have virtually ground to a halt this year, I am surprised there has not been lots in the media about it.2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.0

I renewed my tax credits on the 26th April 2014, and still haven't heard anything back... Ive phoned up numerous times and got the same response as many on here, altho he assured me 'there was no issue and nothing in the notes on the system'.
When I last rang he said to me ' for what reason do you need it finalising', which I thought was quite rude considering i've been waiting for over 12 weeks and just want it for my own piece of mind.2014: Girls Joules Polo Shirt,Soccer Suckers,Air Hogs Atmosphere,Lego Movie Book, Family Ticket to Sandall Park Fake Festival & Hullabaloo Event, £50 Adventure Voucher,2 Tickets to see Status Quo & James Blunt,
2015: Free Bird DVD,£500 Yes Electricals,Tommee Tippee bottles, 2 County Tickets for Doncaster Races,

Hi all, just a quick question. All of our details had stayed the same this year, so I didn't need to do anything to renew. The letter I received states: "we will decide on 31st July that your award for the period 2013-14 was £xxxx", with the final sum being about £300 more than the amount we actually received in payments over the 13-14 year. I assume this means they held this amount back, as they have done in previous years, and we'll get it back after the deadline, but just want to double check-- I don't need to ring to point out this discrepancy in figures, do I?
Thanks!0 -

Another one here who is still waiting....the renewal packs seemed to go out massively late this year. Our first one didnt cone until mid june by which time I had rung to get another one sent out and mysteriously that came only a couple of days after the first one finally arrived. I sent it back the next day and have heard nothing. I did get the text saying it had been recieved but have stupidly deleted that. I guess I will be phoning this morning before work to try and find out more.
Why is it such a shambles this year?0 -
So, if the time frame is 8 weeks and they are still sending out forms at the end of june what happens after 31st July. They say you have to renew by then or your payments will stop. What if they havent processed the renewal by then? Does that mean any CTC payments due after 31st July wont be paid. Am worried as we rely on that money...0

Hi all would welcome some advice if possible. I've renewed my tax credits. When I applied my income for the year 2012/2013 was 2400 from self employment and 1108 from taxable social security benefits. I estimated my income for 2013/2014 to be 10000, when I renewed it is actually 6549. Does this mean I've been overpaid as they base it on 2012/2013 or underpaid as they would have based it on my estimate?. Can't get through on the helpline to ask. Any answers much appreciated as I'm totally confused.0
