First time renewal and I'm panicking a bit now, got the form through and income is exactly same as p60 and no details have changed and I could have sworn it said if that was the case you didn't need to do anything else, is that correct? Or have I misunderstood it
do I still have to send it back it call them?

It depends on which form you got. It will tell you what to do on the pack.
Some people have to declare their income (and will have an income declaration form) and other people have to just check what is on the form and ONLY ring if there is something wrong or has changed.

Hi I renewed my tax credits by phone on 1st of May. I had called end of June wondering why I hadn't recieved my award notice for 14-15 and was adv not 8 weeks. I called again today as still not had anything as now 11wks and was told still not processed and took my number and said someone should get in contact within 3 weeks or might recieve notice within this time. I am getting worried that something is wrong as normally only takes 1-2 weeks previous years I have renewed. Anyone else got this problem? Thanks
Hi I'm
Exactly the same renewed 1st may, rang last week and was told that it's been referred and expect contact within 3 weeks!0 -

Hi lower11,
It's frustrating isn't it? When I had called the other day they said there wasn't any notes on my file and adv that he was unsure why it was taking so long. So said he was going to transfer it to another dept to see what the hold up was. I have him my number and he had said I still might receive the award notice within the 3 weeks but if not should get a call. Let me know if you get anywhere with them. I've not had any letters reg compliance checks etc? Do u think that's what they are doing and if they are doing that do u think they are not allowed to tell you and that's why they are saying no notes? Just a worrier although should have nothing to worry about but can't help but think something wrong. The guy had said my payments will still remain the same until been finalised but not sure if getting correct payments0 -
I've renewed for my husband & online this afternoon. New award letter will be here by mid September, the acknowledgement page did say that payments will continue but might change during renewal process, hopefully they won't go down as we're on a very tight budget over the summer.0

Does anyone know if you receive a confirmation email if you renew online? Thanks.0

They have said exactly the same to me. I have had no letters re: compliance and im pretty sure they do tell you. I have asked my childcare provider and they havent had a phonecall or anything either. I will let you know if and when I hear anything. They took my number and said i should hear something/get a phonecall within 3 weeks too!0 -
