Hope they have a good time. Posted more last time but too tired now.

tired mum - I'm so sorry for what your DS is going through thanks to those bullies:mad: - you must be feeling dreadful every time he goes to school. i really hope the school sort it out, if not contact a school governer and complain. If it was my son I would be tempted to keep him at home as I couldn't bear to put him through it even though its not him who should stay away.

Huge (((hugs))) to you and your DS xxxx

Hope your DH manages to come back in one piece from his Stag Do VickyA

Well I didnt get dressed till lunchtime as I spent all morning on the phone after finding out about the job offer :j . Went out for lunch with my Mum and we had a naughty ready made meal from M & S tonight :shhh: there goes my redundancy  DD & DDog are fast asleep and I am off to bed early as I have a training course to do tomorrow morning. I bought a gift voucher for the friend that put a word in for me for the new job, got her a voucher for a beauty treatment as she has a bit of a busy life working full time with 2 young kids so I thought she would appreciate some 'me' time. Treat my DD to a new pair of jeans too as she hasnt had anything new for ages and it is non uniform day tomorrow. Somebody please freeze my credit card :D

Meant to ask earlier. How is Lorenzo ?? :) hope his arm is on the mend
Hope all went well with the concert this evening Pen Pin

    Goodnight all :hello:

  • Tiredmum - huge (((((hugs))))) - there's nothing worse than your kids hurting - you just want to take the pain for them - hang in there, if the school doesn't acknowledge anything then threaten them with going to the press. In my experience it's hard to get schools to actually admit that bullying happens in "their" school. But it's not "their" school it's your child's school.

DH is working overtime again tonight, won't get home till about 2.00am, and then back in at 9.00am  Bless him :A Unfortunately the extra money is already spent (new cam belt for the car  ). But at least we don't have to *find* the money out of our normal monthly salary - that could mean a month of living on beans on toast ;)

MIL and FIL want to take DD (8) to Ireland for 5 days in the Summer holidays, after much cajoling she's finally said that "yes" she'll go  I've never been apart from her for more than 1 night, and I think I'm going to find it hard... never mind, in exchange for DD, we've got the IL's dog for the duration :rotfl:

Between myself and DH, and the occasional help from the IL's, I've managed to cover the whole Summer holidays without using the childminder, which has saved me loads of money - so I'm quite pleased tonight.

I made the Mexican meatballs and red rice for tea tonight - they were delish, we've got leftovers for lunch tomorrow :D Not sure whether I'd do them again for a weeknight meal - it took just over 2 hours to make/cook them

Forgot to say HUGE congratulations to Grannybroon on your new little bundle of fun :D

    Anyway I'm rambling now, TTFN
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)
