Wonder if it would be good for sweet potato fries

I make my sweet potato fries in the oven, bake the potato in the microwave, cut them up into thin slices and put in the oven.

You need to leave them in for a decent amount of time so that they crisp up, same when you make wedges.

I'm going to start doing the shred tomorrow, as I can't go swimming during the holidays.
Haven't really eaten properly today - just loads of crackers with stilton and onion chutney and some homemade (by me) shortbread.
To make up for it I am going to eat healthily all next week. I might nick a bit of the kid's easter eggs next Sunday though.

Can be quite a while, Id say about 20 mins at least, but I keep an eye on them, because theres a fine line between too fluffy like a baked potato and burnt.

 I've had them in 30-40 before and they've not gone crispy unless I use oil

Might get a actifry and give it a go
