Ugh! Periods are the bain of my life!

Keep up with the distractions, I was watching Harry Potter too :)

I finally ate my ice-cream and it was soooooo good! It felt nice to know I was actually having a treat rather than just mindlessly eating junk all day.

I'm starting to feel like that

Tomorrows a cheat day so subway sandwich (foot long) krisoy creme doughnuts, crisps

    Yum

Subway really is a treat for me, I literally only have it once or twice a year!

Foot long tuna on Italian herb and cheese, toasted with single cheese, lots of jalapeños and light mayo

I just made an apple topping for my porridge tomorrow.

Diced apple (peeled or unpeeled, doesn't matter)
Spoonful of sugar/sweetner/honey (whichever you prefer)
    Handful of sultanas
    Drop of vanilla extract
    Sprinkle mixed spice
    Few spoons of cold water

Put it all in a pan and cook until soft. Transfer to a container and put in fridge when cooled.

It doesn't look the nicest, but it smells really good. I just made this recipe up now, so hopefully it tastes as good as it smells.

Sounds lovely. I just put stewed apple and cinammon in my porridge and cook it , I have got used to having my porridge without any sugar or sweetener now.

That sounds really lovely Bunnie :) I normally just mash a banana into my porridge and serve with frozen fruit, but I think i'll try this as well this week.

Just tried some this morning, it was really tasty! :p

I use the Oats So Simple original flavour sachets and I added the apple halfway through to warm it up. I don't think it needed any sugar, I'll probably leave it out if I make it again.

I'm not the biggest fan of bananas, but I've been eating them as they're filling and good for you. I might make a smoothie to drink on the way to work when I don't have time for breakfast.

Wondering what to have for dinner tonight as my OH is usually out with his friends on Wednesdays

WatToBeSe, just don't buy it. I can rummage in the cupboards as much as I like but if it's not there it can't be eaten. Buy strawberries or blueberries as a sweet treat maybe?

    Todays food diary:

Breakfast - Porridge and apple topping
Lunch - leftover salad and ryvita with light cream cheese
Dinner - Homemade Chinese veg pot noodle (adapted from bacon flavour recipe, BBC Good Food)
    Snacks - Flake dessert
Drinks - squash, 2 cups of tea, 1 can diet coke

Working the late shift definately stops me from snacking :) I'm not supposed to eat at my desk, but then I don't feel hungry. I must be eating out of habit.
