Haven't come across St Eval before, so I just checked out their website. They do some lovely things.
Yes, the yoghurt is Easi Yo....... That was either a lucky guess on your part..... Or you are glued to QVC 24/7! :rotfl:
I had a brief flirtation with TV shopping around 2000, when a now defunct TV auction channel started. We got some really nice things for the house, and it used to be quite exciting, as your name and town would come up on screen if you were a high bidder. If you won the auction, you'd also get a name check by the auctioneer, so it was a chance to hear your name on TV :rotfl:
Quite addictive though, so I had to force myself to stop watching!Early retired - 18th December 2014

My jigsaw auctions ended last night, and two out of the three sold, for slightly lower prices than I've been getting on Sunday evenings:(
All this experimenting with end times doesn't really work, in future I'll end the auctions when it suits me. Sometimes I'm pleased with the prices other times not. It's just the nature of eBay.
Anyway, I'll walk down to the post office later to post the parcels, then I'll go to the shops to get my TV mag, plus I've got a voucher for 60 Nectar points if I buy cotton wool balls(which I do use!), so I'll do that in Sains.
Apart from that, I'll finish off the little list of activities that I wrote up yesterday, this afternoon my friend is coming round to drop off some more things for me to eBay, then we are going to meet another friend for tea.
Have a good day all
EDIT - I'm just watching a power struggle in the back garden. We have three wood pigeons that hang out around the bird table, a mating pair, and another, I think male, bird. The male in the mating pair is forever chasing off the other male - it gets quite intense sometimes when they start flapping at each other.Early retired - 18th December 2014

I managed to finish off the odds and ends of admin that I wanted to do, but apart from that I've been quite lazy today.
I have a small pile of ironing which would take about 20 minutes, but I've been so busy doing nothing much, I haven't been able to squeeze in time for ironing.
My friend dropped off another pile of things for eBaying. I've been selling things for her for two years, and she still passes over lots of lovely clothes - I'm not sure how she's managed to find room to store them!
But it is fun to sell her things, as they sell so easily.
We then met up with another friend for tea, so we've had a good old gossip.
Tomorrow, Mr Goldie and I are off to Bluewater. It's our wedding anniversary on Friday, so we are going to have a nice meal out tomorrow.
I'll take my posh watch with me, to drop off at the jewellers for mending.Early retired - 18th December 2014

Psst Gg, I'm not supposed to be on here as am on hols but just noticed its an EasiYo TSV on QVC today! How funny after yesterday! Shall I become your personal shopper? :rotfl: Apologies for encouraging your profligacy but it is a bargain from what I can see :money:
PS: please don't think I religiously check what the TSV is via my QVC iPhone app as soon as I wake up or anything, I'd never be so sad as to do that [whistles]
And happy anniversary :beer:Life is changing...but I'm still Money Saving!0 -

I imagine you hiding in the airing cupboard making clandestine posts on MSE:rotfl:
What a co-incidence as we were only talking about Easi Yo the other day!
I had a look, and got really excited, not only was it a very good price, there was a new flavour, pineapple and coconut. ( reminds me of drinking Malibu and pineapple juice in 1985)
But I was too late when I looked as they had sold out!
The first website I look at in the morning is Amazon, for the Kindle deal of the day. In future, it'll have to be QVC, as I don't want to miss any other good deals
The Yankee Candles arrived today, which I thought was very quick.
Thank you for [strike] getting me addicted [/strike]bringing QVC to my attention, it is much appreciated !
Had a nice day today, over at Bluewater. We had our first free JL coffee and cake. I thought they'd tell us what cake we had to have, but we could have whatever we wanted, so I had a slab of millionaires shortbread.
We had a good mooch round and I bought myself plant pot set for growing herbs on the windowsill, in Lakeland's sale.
Lunch at La Tasca was lovely, and we used our free Gourmet Club card again, and got 25% off the bill.
I took my posh watch to the jewellers, had to pay £15 today for insurance so they could send it to the workshop, and the battery will cost £45 when I collect it:eek:Early retired - 18th December 2014

Gg, it's on what they call Waitlist, which means the stock in the warehouse has gone but if you order it now & they get it back in stock within 90 days they'll send it to you for the TSV price (it'll be more if they get it back later & you order later.) I would have thought they would get it back as it's a regular line so if you want it place an order tonight before midnight - they won't charge you unless & until its shipped. You can cancel it at any time if you change your mind tomorrow or next week.
I really have outed myself as a QVC veteran haven't I?:rotfl:

Ah, so that was what wait listed meant, I thought it was just an out of stock thing!
I've got used to the idea of not buying them now, (mainly because I'm probably going to be buying a couple of tops in M&S on Saturday, when I've got a 20% off voucher)but in future, I'm going to be looking at QVC each day, they have some really good stuff.Early retired - 18th December 2014

Hi Goldie
Glad you had fun at Bluewater ... to the price of the watch repairs though!
Another vote here for gallons of passata in the making, Mr. Hbbb and I were only just discussing the best plan for the upcoming tomato glut yesterday! Passata and green tomato chutney is starting to look like the main plan. I'm relying on the students to finish up all the preserves so I can recycle the jars in the direction of the toms
Hope work's not too grot tomorrow ... not long to go! xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Hello, Hbbb!
Strange you should mention jars - we've been talking about jam making. It was going into Lakeland that did it, they had a promotion about preserve making, just got us thinking. We are going to start saving all our jam jars just in case. We also saw wine making kits, so we're thinking about that too.
I'm not sure we'll end up doing everything, but we are getting lots of ideas
Mentally, I almost feel that I've finished work already, so the next two days feel like a minor inconvenience!Early retired - 18th December 2014
