Just to update you, I found out yesterday that my POPLA appeal, prepared on my behalf by 4 consumerrights and kirbyinfurnesslad, was successful:j
Having them take care of the appeal for me, for a very reasonable fee of £16 plus a guarantee, was like having a weight taken off my shoulders.
They didn't just lodge the appeal for me, they helped me throughout the process, all part of the service, for example, they ensured I wasn't tricked into withdrawing the appeal, and they knew that one of the documents was a fake as they see so many appeals.
If you're struggling with a parking appeal nightmare, like I was, then I can highly recommend their brilliant service.
Thanks guys! :T0 -
The question people should be asking themselves, is the same as any other, is it worth my time and resources to fight this, or do I pay someone else to deal with it? oh look, an instant fix, you just pay money; albeit, its a lot less than the amount claimed. Job done.
You guys need to understand the option of going it alone.. the sleepness nights, the getting up at silly-o-clock to do stuff because you can't sleep, the weeks trawling multiple forums at all hours looking for a solution, the bricking it on the court date.. all that gone , for a simple paltry sum.
Even if all these guys offer is a popla appeal, then in my opinion is it worth it, You do not want to go to court unless you are strong willed and understand the legal arguements.0 -
I would recommend the services of the Parking Ticket Appeals Service
- as a new user I cannot post a link.
However, having just received notification that two parking charges have been cancelled when using their services - one cancelled after just the first appeal - the other at POPLA.
They are really professional and know what they are doing and would recommend them to anyone.
You're the second newbie in a couple of days to sing the praises of this website. I smell a rat - consider yourself reported.0 -
You do realise that the service in question is ran by a couple of respected forum regulars, don't you?0
-
As I see it, that means "For £16 you can park anywhere/for as long as you like .... MSE will sort it", which would then become a problem as it would no longer attract the unfortunate and misinformed, but those who wish to park when/where they liked as they'd know their total parking fee would be £16.0

Whether that's the case or not, the forum also has rules on company reps. I have no problem with regulars pointing people to such services, but look at the username of the newbie and ask yourself why someone would sign up to a forum just to post what they have.
No-one likes it when PPCs push their agenda under false names, and this looks very similar - particularly because, as I said, another newbie posted something similar a couple of days ago.0 -

I think you are the one that is misinformed!0 -
@spikyone - I understand your POV. However I disagree that this is underhand marketing by the persons in question.0

Fair enough. But given the contentious nature of the "business" in question - and the fact that even those involved don't make their involvement clear (for instance, as a signature) - I will continue reporting any newbie that seems to have registered with the sole intent of promoting the service, and will leave it to the mods to decide.
The simple fact is, we have to take the moral high ground when fighting PPCs, and that means complete transparency. With all due respect to those involved, I feel there is too much of a conflict of interest right now.0 -

@Spikyone - we have a lot of satisfied customers also who have used our services multiple times.
I haven't posted on this forum much recently obviously due to the business - can you direct me to the other thread.
For instance we also have had customers that have come to us from this forum and not reported back .....
for example on this thread:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4947627
our client had four POPLA appeals upheld as they didn't feel confident in doing it themselves - and we did a special offer for the client in this case.
You are of course entitled to your opinion as is everyone else on the forum .
This thread for obvious reasons caught my eye today ... not least do the the member who started it and other current issues surrounding that member.
Perhaps though you would like to target the Parking Companies themselves a bit more ....
We went to Parkex and had meaningful discussions with Steve Clark and the Minister for Transport and not least to some parking companies.0
