Parking Eye - Panic

  • Ok, email sent with the above wording. I got this reply:

Thank you for contacting ParkingEye, we acknowledge receipt of the appeal.

We endeavour to respond to all appeals as soon as possible. Whilst we consider an appeal the parking charge amount will not increase. Please note that a full written response may take up to 14 days.

Now where does this leave me? I have been told if i pay with 14 days it will be £40 after 14 days it will be £70.

P E usually re-offer the reduced amount when they reject your appeal and give you the POPLA code.

But don't worry - when you get the rejection letter - and that is the most likely outcome - you then appeal to POPLA with forum help and get it cancelled at that stage. The forum has an excellent record at helping people win at POPLA and there's a better than 99% chance you will pay nothing.

While you await your response from P E, take a look at post #3 of the sticky NEWBIES thread to gen up on POPLA appeals

Ask Parking Eye how many court cases they've won since August 2013 ;)

Parking Eye are lying. Why ? Because they are no good conning scum of the earth toerags. I've challenged Parking Eye a number of times on here, directly via email and via the Aldi Facebook page to take me to court for libel and guess what ...... NOTHING.

Follow the standard procedures detailed on here and you WILL get it cancelled.

Oh, did I mention Parking Eye are lying good for nothing scum ? ;)

Did it contain a POPLA code? However if it did this was your route to getting rid of the charge, but you have only 28 days to submit a POPLA appeal, and going by the dates above, you may well have missed the deadline.

Come back with more information please.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

[If sending by post, DO NOT send special/recorded delivery - they may refuse to sign for it which means there is proof your appeal was NOT received.

A recorded letter is deemed received 2 working days after posting, WHETHER SIGNED FOR OR NOT.

Delivery of a Recorded letter is an irrebuttable presumption in law
