    Morning everyone,

    Just a quick update.
    1. 6/15 SFD
    2. £83.65/£300 food budget
    3. £62/£160 petrol allowance
    4. £10/£50 school holidays spends
    5. 0/1 takeaway
    6. £3/£3 local food bank
    7. 2/15 items to sell - £55
    8. 0/10 areas - spring clean the house
    9. 0/8 exercise
    10. Sort and update paperwork
With only a week of the holidays left I need to make a big push on getting things organised!
I am being slightly naughty though and have bought a rocking chair (second hand) for a bargain £10. It needs sanding down and repainting but thought it would be lovely in the living or dining room.
    £2 Savers club £0/£150
    1p a day £/

    Hi Raindrops,

Couldn't post last night as I broke my glasses. Blind as a bat without them so no use trying to use the iPad or laptop.

Small spends yesterday as worked 2 hours unpaid overtime and needed to pick up something quick to cook for dinner. As it turned out we were both too tired to eat so had a hot cross bun

Spendy day today as I had to buy some reading glasses to get me through next week at work. I will look for an optician that is offering a good deal on 2 pairs of glasses and hope they cover varifocals when I'm off work as I finish on Thursday until the 6th May :j

Did manage LTW yesterday, so a little good news there:T

Current scores on the doors are:

5/15 - SFD. This is looking a bit iffy but I can try. This should be 6/15 forgot to update my diary on Thursday which was a SFD.
9/13 - LTW. On target so happy with this

Will calculate the shopping and fuel budgets tomorrow and give a full update.

Clippy_Girl had a quick word with OH about the floorboards in the loft and the only way he can suggest is to damage the first board and then use a crow bar to gently ease the boards up. If the boards are tongue and groove this may be a slow and difficult task as you will need to ease the boards up and gently pull them apart. You may loose some of the boards if they have used an excessive amount of nails. Good luck ;)

    Happy weekend everyone.

    See you tomorrow

thanks chez, luckily they are not tongue and groove! there are a few bits of random wood screwed down so can lift those and start from there. just bought a pry bar from wickes which is like a crowbar but thinner so hopefully should get them up without too much damage. going to be a big job though! :(

Another NSD in the bag; a summer hol booked (cottage in NE so can see bestie when she's over from Spain with her kiddies, and my big sis too); a good visit to the tip; an underwater den built and occupied, plus felt wings stuck on mermaids; a breakthrough in knit + fleece combo.

And a workout done :j. A bodyweight one, for time called Full body burn:
    1. 50 climber's lunge (1 jump lunge + 2 mountain climber= 1)
    2. 100 Pike jump (plank position with wide feet, jump feet together then jump feet forward and back = 1)
    3. 50 Windscreen wipers
    4. 100 Crab leg kick up

I did it in 5 rounds of 10/20/10/20 and it took 16mins 01. Sweaty!

Salmon in red pesto and crushed nuts, cauli and (cough) chips for tea - yum!

off to put dd to bed.

    Evening all,

Spend day today as expected due to my beauty treat :) got last of the pet food for the month and also went to a party this evening but only spent £5 on one drink for OH and I :)

Totalled up budgets and they are massively overspent so it's damage limitation for the next two weeks. Food budget is over but have contingency money so will use that. Misc budget is way over but this is mainly due to £84 on hydrotherapy for one of the dogs.

On a positive note, I did a quick clothing declutter earlier and got rid of 7 items to various destinations :) I also walked the dogs and swam at the gym :)

Looking forward to a day of gyming it, dog walking, cleaning and decluttering tomorrow :)

    Hugs to all poorlies.

A good day. Not an NSD - bought the bus ticket £13.50 for a week on all firstbuses within the county. Did 2 trips to DS2's with the freezer contents, turned it of, left the door open and a couple of drawers pulled out. Then did 3 mini-trips (only using baby rucksack) to cs (cleared all the stuff under the table in the vestibule). Gratefully received. Brought small paper pile back from DS2's (he only has a sack, no paper bin and collection is erratic - they sometimes get ignored).

Rested then went to SM (hopefully first of 4 trips this week - have £10 off £30 vouchers, 2 per week - mum's and her partner's). May go over budget but will make up the shops by stockpiling tins/dried goods and filing the freezer with ys bargains. Tessimo have tinned pulses on offer at 2 for £1, using the vouchers I am actually getting 3 for £1 = HB price. If I use the bus ticket and vouchers so I have most of next month covered as well, when I am able to walk I can spend time on catching up with the house jobs.

Really enjoyed the bus hopping - never had to walk for more than 5 minutes, as I picked the nearest stop and went back home after each mini task. Felt more 'able' than I have for weeks.

Cleaned the freezer drawers which hadn't already been done - wiped the lower ones whilst stock-taking. Not quite finished defrosting - will switch back on before bed, then go to bring the food back tomorrow. Want to do another mini shop but would also like an 'outing'. not sure if it will all fit.

Had a bath, used a scrub on my feet and rubbed use-up body lotion on afterwards. Also arranged to handover some of the stuff cluttering the hallway - so may be able to mop it next week and house will not look a mess the minute you walk in the door. Clutter must go.

Was trying to think of a metaphor with streams turning into rivers and tides of positivity sweeping all obstacles before them, but it's not quite there, yet.
