Morning all.
Fingers crossed moomin.
Yesterday was a SFD and today will be too. Nothing exciting to report really although we did sell a bike yesterday for £40, the cash is sat on one side for the moment as we are looking to buy a bike carrier for the car for trips during summer.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

LuckyStarr - Try Oh She Glows, She is vegan though so you could always add your meat on top.
But to be really fast..- Quinoa (Pronounced KEEN-WA) is basically a rice substitute but yummier. Best instructions for cooking it are here. It's a complete protein and encompasses all the 9 amino acids out body doesn't produce itself - good buy!
- Coconut Oil is great for frying foods - although I melt it and use it as a substitute in cakes etc. Expensive but very good for you.
- Chia seeds - sprinkle these bad boys on cereal or put into smoothies. If left to soak they form a sort of "frog spawn" effect and look amazing in drinks. I leave mine in milk with oats over night ready to eat in the morning.
- Agave is a honey replacement. Use as you want although not the best honey alternative. It's from a cactus and is very refined in order to get it as sweet as it is but I am sure you are not going to drink it from the the bottle as I don't..:T

Good afternoon raindrops.
Sorry, I have been a bit MIA recently. I have been reading but have two excuses... 1) I ran out of awakeness after reading each day and 2) work has been a bit troublesome.
Have finally recovered enough to post. Have gotten a grand total of 6 spend-free days so far.
However, have managed to buy a heap of meat for a great price so feeling pretty dam good about that.
I have given the wiifit a miss but have been walking with either the dog or my mum so have done about 5 miles in total (three with the dog) so have been exercising.
:j
Not really been up to much else to be honest, just reading whats on here and trying to get my head around work.
:undecided
Keep going raindrops.

An exercise and spending day: as I was at the gym before 10, went to hunt for vintage. Success!
Totals updated.
Now to find somewhere to put it all _pale_
2 more training sessions booked in for next week and, as it's Easter, probably racking up some no spend days.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Evening All,
SFD for me today, very unusual for me to have one when I'm not at work but got a bit of extra motivation this morning. As it's the start of the tax year, my working tax credits have been cut by £22 a week - I remember the days when £22 was nothing! A drop in the ocean! Now, I was fuming (with myself for not checking), that's £88 less a month which leaves me short for my savings potsI'll get onto my spreadsheet shortly and see if I can shave anything off anywhere else.
Otherwise a good day in the sunshine, spent most of it either in the garden or the park which is always lovely. Just a pity me and DD are both extremely snotty and coughing lots. I hate having a blocked nose - I noticed one of the other mums at the park wrinkling her nose up everytime DD got close, I couldn't smell the 'incident' myself but it was a corker by the time we got home, all clothes in the wash!!
Anyhoo, scores so far:
5/15 SFD
£63.25/£100 food budget
6/30 items decluttered
3/18 Exercise 3x weekly
9/30 Meal plan and eat 3 times a day

Get all paperwork organised
All a/c I do for others up to date
10/30 Keep the flat looking straight, not the current 'a bomb's just gone off' look
10/30 Update my budget spreadsheet daily
10/30 NO TV
Have a good evening all, and happy Friday xxxDebt as at Feb 14: £2272.40DFW Nerd no. 1024June Overhaul #260 -
