    Have been out spending today.

We bought DS a new cycle helmet, not an impulse purchase though, he needed a bigger one and it is for safety so no problem there. Two pairs of yoga pants for DD to take on her residential next week, got these in Sainsburys and used nectar points and just ended up paying 50p cash. I used some money I was given for my birthday to buy a sports bra, only £8 as I have two Shock Absorber ones somewhere but can't find them, and didn't want to buy an expensive one when I am losing weight. I did find 8 pairs of sports socks though so am pleased with that. Me and DH bought two cycling tops on sale at £10 & £5 each, mine is a very fancy one his is a bit more basic, but they are breathable and wicking.

Decluttered some bits and bobs whilst searching for sports bras and have a bag for the charity shop in the car boot for Monday.

Have been for a run and collected 4 x £10 off a £30 spend vouchers for Tesco from my mum as she doesn't shop there. One runs out tomorrow so we will only have chance to use 3 of them but I don't have time to go tomorrow so am OK about that. I will use the scan and shop thing and just spend £30 and then get the rest delivered by Sainsburys.

Back from L!dl. Not that impressed with it actually, I think I'm still an Ald! girl... Mind you, some of their "deluxe" range looked very nice, but it just isn't really on my list at the moment! Maybe when Mr L visits I can treat us to some indulgent bits!

    So I spent:

    £14.52 on groceries
    £1.34 on toiletries
    £3.98 on easter presents

So for the month I am on:

    3/15 SFDs
4/25 check in days (missed yesterday :naughty:)
    £21.65/£60 groceries
    £1.34/£5 toiletries
£0/£10 educational (library did have my books, just waiting for them to be sent to the local library to collect)
    £0/£150 petrol (:j)
£69.08/£200 miscellaneous (easter presents, birthday present and holibob stuff. Still a bit  though)

And home now, drinking tea, eating some (35p for 100g) chocolate and watching the lion king! :D

    Evening all,

Just checking in to announce, I have paid off my credit card :T

I now only have my loan and my two (£500) overdrafts to pay off :D

I feel like a huge burden has been taken off my shoulders. The loan payment is a manageable amount a month so it feels like there is light at the end of the tunnel. The end date for the loan is May 2018 but intend to overpay it as much as possible and bring that date forward by hopefully 2 years and 5 months :)

Today has been a spend day as I have restocked the cupboards, as they were almost bare after the last few months of eating up stocks. I also had to get my watch battery replaced and my watch resealed, and had a catch up lunch with a friend. After the vet treatment (and another treatment next week) I am going to go over my budget again. I need to learn to stick to a budget!

Hope you've had a lovely birthday NSK

    :jHAPPY :j BIRTHDAY :j KAT :j
NSD preserved by having a bath and putting clean pjs on - desperate for chocolate (bad bad bad) but not going to get dressed and go out to buy some. Shuffled a few boxes around and brought some bits onto the bed to sort through. Found my accounts book so transferring scraps of info into it - get stressed not having everything at my fingertips. Probably going to spend tomorrow and Monday but will try to get organised so that if I have an all day ticket to go to the doctors then bags for cs etc can all go.

Dragged dd to tap + ballet this morning, as she wanted to go to Toysrus after. I said I'd match her money and we ended up spending £8.22 each - not bad for 2 barb1e things. She doesn't often get new things, and a 50/50 split kept her happy.

Given that I'd already spent, I bought our train ticket to Bham via Quidco, and will get a few pennies back sometime.

Hope you've had a lovely day kat _party_:dance::dance::bdaycake::dance::dance:_party_

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAT!!!

    And well done Fmess :)

Hope you are all having good weekend!

Have had a good clearing out day, shame my targets were about spending and exercise! Have done the front garden, just the back one to do.. tomorrow I have a lot to do to catch up and get ahead as next week is really busy on all levels.

How do I stop spending? For example this week I need to pay for the following things: tomorrow ebay purchases, petrol, treating my friend to a cup of tea and doing my food shopping, Monday - pub quiz, Tuesday - dancing and Wednesday - dinner out, Thursday I'm seeing a band play. That means 5 days and not one possible SFD - what can I do apart from not go out which is not an option? All help and advise welcome as to how you all manage so many SFD?! TIA

    Evening All,

Happy birthday Kat, hope you've had a wonderful day xx

Not an SFD today as planned as had to pop out for milk and a few other essentials.

Didn't manage 3 meals today as I worked through my lunch break so I could leave early (something we're only allowed to do on a weekend) so I brought home what I had taken into work and ate it for tea.

DD has developed a nasty cough today so am expecting a few sleepless nights coming up, and no doubt I'll get it despite my mum's advice of 'don't get too close to her'! I've got no idea how I'm supposed to stay away from DD, especially when she's so cute I have to keep giving her kisses!!

    Anyhoo, totals so far:
    2/15 SFD
    £57.96/£100 food budget
    5/30 items decluttered
    2/18 Exercise 3x weekly
4/30 Meal plan and eat 3 times a day
    £0/£3 food bank
    Get all paperwork organised
All a/c I do for others up to date
5/30 Keep the flat looking straight, not the current 'a bomb's just gone off' look
5/30 Update my budget spreadsheet daily
    5/30 NO TV

Am finding the NO TV rule easier than expected and quite a surprise, I didn't realise how much I could get done in an evening without the box sucking the life out of me!!

Have a great eve and a fab sunday everyone xx
