    Hi all,

Thanks for the add, Kat :)

    My personal targets for April:

    - save £500
    - 15 sfds
    - groceries £200
    - 10 30 mins+ walks

I also intend to clear out the freezer, do more crafting and live a healthier life in April :)

Not a SFD yesterday as I had to buy flea tablets. Also bought some baked beans, I panic when there's none in :rotfl:
Cleaned the freezer and wrote up a list of meals I can make. Plenty to last over a week and enough bread to open my own bakery!

Today will be a SFD as I don't intend to leave the house:D

congrats on the credit card fmess :j:beer::money::A:T

so yest was a sfd :j today should be as well :D

im hurting a bit too much to go gym :( so another fun filled day in the loft.

downloaded gumtree app last night and its great :) it is amazing how quickly people are responding to the adds. stuck on some of the cheaper/free stuff last night/this morning and someone wants a free box of tiles, carpet off cut and selling a bath panel today for £5 and some wood for £4 :) going to go up and bring down the bits i have listed and put them in the shed as it is filthy in the loft so dont want to keep needing to pop up there every time someone wants something!

going to bring down a blackened and a painted short bit of floorboard and give a section a quick sand to show how they come up. then going to get a small piece of the joist wood thing and will take to reclamation yard to get a price. if price is not good then i will wait and flog on ebay on next free listing day :)

speaking of which- it is def free listing this weekend on ebay as i had an email frm them yesterday. seems to be only auction style

Morning all. Probably will spend today as I need a pair of earphones. Old ones only work out of one ear :( I did some exercise yesterday and some tidying so very productive. Youngest on the mend, by my joints and head are starting to ache :( Gonna shake this off hopefully! Plan to visit my neighbour today once ex collects kids. Although, I am in two minds to let youngest go as he is not 100% it would do him good to see daddy and I suppose he can't get any worse.

Well have a good Sunday everyone :)

    Good Morning Raindrops! ...(soooo cute!!)

Thank you for all the Birthday Happies! They make me smile! We had a very chilled day yesterday, went to church, got fed by friends, came home to watch a bit of TV and I put Mummy to bed before I sat up and watched World War Z. Very easy day - no fuss, most of it spent in pi's - just the way I like it! :rotfl:

Now picture the scene... both Mumsy and I are sat in silence in the living room - both on laptops - both on MSE. However I am trying to teach a tabby that Mr MacBook Air is NOT FOR SITTING ON!

Well done Fmess for getting that CC paid off! I am well chuffed for you!

    Siouxsie any baby yet?

Cippy I didn't realise there was a gumtree app. I might download that and use it to sell my push bike...

Someone on eBay offered me £58 for a pair of boots but this was to include postage. Considering he is in the Scottish borders and the boots weigh 2KG I have said I would accept £65 as postage is £13-£15 or so...

Another dress has been bid on at around £6 with a few watchers and the vintage box bag has been bid on at £9.99 with 22 watchers.... I have my fingers crossed.

So Money Mentor study and submission today! Need to get this out of the way as I need to get on with the larger project this week. Time is a ticking...

Hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday - Mumsy says she is going out without me if I don't get my homework done..:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:..albeit to the local Tescimos for treats....

EDIT - 1 SFD (hopefully two if I keep Mumsy indoors today)...

    Post daily: 6/30
    Decluttering: 24/100
    Jobs applied for: 11
    Exercise: 4/20
    SFD: 4/15
    Travel (bus): £9.50/£40
    Food: £36.23/£150
    Petrol: 0/£100
    Misc spends: £30.99/£160

I'm further down than I wanted to be on the food/household budget, but I did buy four bags of cat litter yesterday which should last for a few weeks. I have a meal plan sorted for the next week and should only need milk/bread/fruit. Famous last words :o

I upped my Misc Spend yesterday to £18 so I could bank the 21p change I had in my Sealed Pot. Unemployment isn't going to stop me saving, even just wee amounts :money:

More spending today as I'm off out for a pre-arranged afternoon tea with some people I used to work with. I'm aiming to spend less than £20 hopefully, but I can see it going the other way :o I've upped my bus fare total to cover today's spends on getting to town and back.

Happy birthday for yesterday Kat, I hope you had a lovely day ♥

EDIT: Added today's spends - £3.50 on a new diary and £5 on drinks. The lovely ladies I used to work with paid for my afternoon tea! I used the saving to buy a new scratch box for my kitty - £4.49.

Kat - if you send a 2KG parcel with Hermes it will cost less than £5 plus £1 extra if you want it signed for, you can set up an account really easily, pay by paypal and just print your own notes and drop off at one of their drop off shops - ours is a Shell garage, they collect for a touch more. You can track the parcel online too.

I love Hermes. They are much cheaper than using Post Office for parcels :)

I was going to suggest the same Dolly84. I use parcel to go and they are excellent.

Well done on the card Fmess!

Tired today as sat up watching one of those 100 best charts, also I had some wine. Its a predicted spend day as I'm out for a work thing tonight. Tomorrow will also be a spend day as I'm out again!

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAT!!!

    And well done Fmess :)

Hope you are all having good weekend!

Have had a good clearing out day, shame my targets were about spending and exercise! Have done the front garden, just the back one to do.. tomorrow I have a lot to do to catch up and get ahead as next week is really busy on all levels.

How do I stop spending? For example this week I need to pay for the following things: tomorrow ebay purchases, petrol, treating my friend to a cup of tea and doing my food shopping, Monday - pub quiz, Tuesday - dancing and Wednesday - dinner out, Thursday I'm seeing a band play. That means 5 days and not one possible SFD - what can I do apart from not go out which is not an option? All help and advise welcome as to how you all manage so many SFD?! TIA

I know that with my dd's activities, I put them in the budget for the month, so although I'm paying out on the relevant days, for me they are not a 'spend'. Other people put money in envelopes. Maybe do that for the pub quiz and dancing - so long as you don't spend any other money :).
