Food total is £23.43/£150 following the totalling of the receipts, although that does include 24 loorolls so isn't as bad as it sounds :D

Have a splendid day, Kat! :bdaycake:

I'm off to work for 1pm so it's nearly lunch time. That'll be the rest of the hummus on seedy toast then ;) And I'll be walking back to the High Street at yellow sticker time so the joint coffers shouldn't suffer too much.

Yesterday was a spendy day so picked up a couple of things for the vintage/retro business while I had the bus ticket. £46.03 left from my £50 :D

Right, I'm off to check the washing and get that toast...

  • Happy birthday Kat!! Hope you're having a lovely day.

I'm spending the day hiding from sunlight and loud noises... Went out last night with an old friend and feeling rather worse for wear today. However, friends were very generous so I only paid for my club entry.

Bank account is looking rather worse for wear today too, thanks to rent going out, but have paid off the CC after the other day's mishap. Other goals are going well, up to 3 lycra'd exercise sessions so far.

Thanks clippy - I know you're right, it just seems like an endless juggling act.

Thanks Fmess - I had looked on ebay but it didn't say anything on the announcements, will have another look later on.

Argh, spendy gremlins are out to get me today! I'm in that kind of mood... not ideal at all!

What is frustrating is I need to go out and get Mr L's birthday present, so I rather have to go to the shops.

Update - online shopping has prevailed! Fantastic! Two things, both with free delivery! No need to go to either town (and succumb to temptations of coffee and cake) or the designer outlet place (and succumb to other temptations).

Going to walk to L!dl now, walking so that I can't buy endless stuff beyond the list. Really would quite like some chocolate very much though...

    Oh and Happy Birthday NSK!!!

    Exercise: 4/20
    SFD: 4/15
    Travel (bus): £6.50/£40
    Food: to be confirmed
    Petrol: 0/£100
    Misc spends: £17.79/£160

Some of this is estimated for today...I'm planning on spending three pounds on bus fares which is above but if I get a lift that'll reduce! I've done my shopping for the next couple of days but need to check my bank account to confirm the total. Misc spends for today are a bet on the National of £10 (£20 cashback has already tracked, but it's a spend regardless) and the rest is postage for items I've sold on Facebook. Tomorrow will be a spend day too as I'm meeting some former colleagues for drinks and lunch. I just wanted to post now before I meet my friend so I don't forget!

phew im pooped! hours of lugging stuff around in loft. have now sorted it all out and photographed stuff to sell. disappointingly there is only about 9.5sqm of boards instead of the 24sqm i thought there would be :( however there are loads of really chunky beams that look like the same wood as the floorboards so not sure if they will be worth anything going to see if i can get someone to come round and look a it all and give me a price. the rest is new wood that i will stick on the work intranet.

just typing up two mystery shops now then going to do the dishes and go for swim. need to tidy up a few bits i brought down from loft and hoover lodgers floor as there is dust on the floor by loft hatch now.

i have just signed up to a new british gas tariff to get the hive thermostat thing. i currently dont have a thermostat and wanted to get one ready for next winter so worked out well. its clearly not the best value tariff but was still cheaper than the cheapest one plus the cost of getting the hive thing :)
