    Thanks bargain. Excellent news :)

As for the fitbug replacements slewis yes they sell them on the fitbug site look for the link to the new bug - the new one has lots of extra features. They are £30 and currently fitbug are running a promotion for existing memebrs to buy one for £25.

Where do I find a link to the promotional price for a replacement? Should I be logged in?

Quick question, this august I got 150 from fitbug for the first time. On the 24th and 25th I got 0 points because, apparently I reached my limit. However my policy starts on the 24th so surely the points limit should reset on the 24th of every month? Or is it per calender month?
  • Points limits are per calendar month.

Crap, I wish I'd know that before. Surely that puts people who's policy starts late in the month at a disadvantage since they don't have enough time to get 150 points. If you start on the 24th for example you'd only get 70 or 80 points in your first month

Edit: I suppose it doesn't matter too much since you have more time in your final month, however if your policy starts on the 15th, you've effectively got 13 months.

Though you would get an "extra" month, in September the following year before your policy anniversary...

(Obviously the speed of accumulating points matters in Year 1 when you're trying to get your gym costs down, but not in subsequent years.)

Edited to say: I cross-posted with your edit! :D

My policy renews in 4 weeks' time. I am Platinum, and up to my limit on some of the points categories including the Fitness category. I don't need any more points.

I had a fitness assessment in the first half of my current policy year but I haven't yet had a second one.

My one question is this: would there be any benefit to me having another fitness assessment in the next 4 weeks, or should I just leave it until after my policy anniversary? I wouldn't get any points for it, other than possibly 50 for maintaining healthy blood pressure, but I certainly wouldn't bother with it just for an extra 7 points to start next year with! I suppose the only reason it might matter would be if the points I would stand to receive in my first FA of my next policy year would be invalidated because I didn't have one in the latter six months of the current year. But I don't think this is the case - AFAIK they just keep your stats on file and whenever you next log an update you get any points due for maintaining or improving them.

    Can anybody confirm?

Edited to ask one more question: If I set myself a Vitality Goal now that expires in my next policy year - for example, the 60 exercise sessions in 12 weeks thing, or the reduce my BMI thing - will there be any issue with the way the points are credited when I finish the task? Would it make a difference that the goal is completed in a different policy year from when it's set?

I asked for two vouchers, one for a boots health check and one for a eye test and they've sent me two identical vouchers. This happened last time but I didn't go in the end. Are they supposed to be the same, they both say "health check"? The fact that they've done it twice now makes it seem like it's not a mistake
