Wow SS you are so like me. Him has his own money, keeps it all and does as he pleases with it. I barely give myself any form of allowance whatsoever each month. I have enough on fighting the guilt at my £26.90 hairdressers trip this month!
I think you can be more than happy with £150 but as for funding a little holidayI think you should maybe drop Mr SS's allowance a bit and keep that excess back, with his knowledge of course if you are planning to do that! If he chips in you will feel better about it!
The competition thing is good. him & I are continually in competition to get the cheapest deals on the things we wantxx

Thanks NOA and Litly. I will probably end up saving it. But the thought of it being there has raised my spirits. It is exciting, has been a while worrying about income straining at the expenditure belt.
Wf8 that sounds lovely.

Don't want to post this on Broggers thread... Jelly stared at ones lady garden for a long time before declaring 'wow, big hairy!' - prompting a razor fest. :rotfl:

Oh bless. I did read your post and remembered the days of having no privacy. It was great to go to work just for a wee in peace and to be able to drink a cup of coffee before it went cold.
My underarms are like the forests of Borneo - partly the weather (no short sleeves), partly laziness and partly because im starting to get longsightedness (too much time on MSE :rotfl:).
Best not mention the lady garden on Broggers post, although he secretly enjoys all the attention and lady talk :rotfl:OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

LOL - underarms I do with an epilator but I hear my legs screaming when I wave it near them. I can deal with the pain for the results under my arms. 5 weeks hair free.. But the rest? Just no! Jelly strokes my leg fur like a cat :rotfl:
We are so hot!and amen to warm coffee and the private loo at work!!

Furry legs Lol. Every time I put tights on I remember DD sitting on the floor as a baby rubbing her hands on my legs at the strange feeling fabric of the tights while I was getting ready for a rare night out - awwww it's a lovely baby image.OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Just made an epic hopefully encouraging post on a newbie's thread. Someone who is battling the debtness alone - dyknow I'm really not sure if that's a disadvantage given that until I met Mr SS I had no debt except for my mortgage and afterwards I have no house but a lot of debt!
However I am not going to be bitter - I have enjoyed the trappings and could have put the brakes on earlier. HOWEVER, (after my relevation that I am awarding myself £150 spending money in the new year ), I've had a further relevation that, INSTEAD of moaning about me restricting his spending WHY doesn't he thank me for getting us out of debt.
That's all folks. (I'm not having a big downer on Mr SS, just slowly realising that my doormattness does not do either of us any favours). OMG is the worm finally turning back into the viper? :rotfl:OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

I think she possibly is SS!!
Don't worry everybody about discussing anything in Brogger's 'garden.'
He only pretends to be shocked (who said that?)

I think that snakes, like spiders, have had a very bad press, they are ancient signs of wisdom and the divine feminine!! I hope DH likes vipers more than worms :rotfl:, they have a reputation for being rather seductive. Were you a worm or a viper when he married you
