  • Hey supersaver - wish I could say that I had no experience of controlling judgemental family (in-laws) but that ain't the case. You get damned if you do, damned if you don't so you may as well plough your own furrow, as at least you'll be happier in the long run.

Keep going gal! You're doing just grand - you know you are and we know you are, so keep going!

I would love to see a thread based around these kind of subjects. Psychology, spirituality, philosophy and physics fascinate me, but I rarely meet anybody else who shares these interests, except for my DS who completely blows my mind!!!

This is a great idea, with such close links to money and spending, though I'm lost on physics...psychics would be good though :D

Lilt and Wf8 were talking physics..my best contribution would be battery, light and crocodile clips in a lesson age 13 probably :rotfl:

    I'll get my coat ;)

How was your day? Not too much mulling I hope and another day crossed off the countdown to leaving.

Psychics are interesting too; grannies on both sides ticked this box.... I have weird genes .

I have always had this feeling that there is more to life than what our physical senses can relate and I've had lots of very strange experiences that defy coincidence, but like Lilt the more I search for answers the more questions surface and the more ignorant I realise I am.

I need to stay grounded in this version of reality, clean the house, feed the whitefeather flock and bust these debts.

What is for tea at Supersaver's residence? :).

  • Beans on toast and scrambled egg - the mystical presence disappears :rotfl:

However I am enjoying a glass of wine now while watching the box.

DD was talking about astrology earlier and I do feel there is something. As a Pisces I am definitely an old soul. And I recognise traits in others. Spiritually I am sure there is more. I can't put a name to it.

  • Well done Supersaver for refusing to look at the world the way your family does, that takes true courage:) . It challenges their perceptions. Ultimately you have to be true to yourself or you’d go nuts.

Liltdiddylilt - Oh .... with a combination of paint fumes and pain killers, you were probably able to solve all the mysteries of the universe in your sleep last night. Is the answer 42 or 108:) , or have you forgotten?

I share all those interests!!! dreams, weird things happening, spirituality/mind/matter,psychology, the big why's ......and I will never have my palm read or see a psychic just in case they say something I do not want to hear...and I am a scientist (though not physicist!).
