Lol yes all okay again. Funny things.

Had a lovely sunny day yesterday.

    House a teeny bit tidier.

One quarter of the working week gone.

DDs exchanged trainers arrived and this time they fit.

Need to order school shoes now before the physio visit.

Back is feeling a little better.

Appreciating not being totally stressed out.

Finished the YNAB emails. Tried the YNAB video but seemed pretty similar and as Id joined half way through didn't carry on. An hour seems a long time. Maybe I'll do it later in the week. I'm not sure I understand the living on last months wage quite right. I've got to make another months wages but wouldn't I just put that in my safety fund? I guess my aim is to pay all the debts plus have a months wages spare. I like the idea of it, but I'm doing something similar with Excel. Be interested to find out more as £40 is a lot of budget.

Found an online ad for admin/bookkeeping and seeing colleague weds, then another next week.

    Good evening to everyone. :)

Well, I've been for a 5k run (well 3k of running and 1.5k of walking so nearly). Had a shower and now eating banana sandwiches before getting ready for work. I've weighed myself and I'm still 70kg - my target is to get to 65kg, keep running and do a few weights for my upper body and for my back (which is surprisingly already better - yayy).

I'm also going to dust off my 'Natural Highs' book to get some energy back and I must keep referring to my Allen Carr No Worries book - it makes such sense.

We found out last night that going outside at 10 pm and sitting having a cup of tea is much cooler than when in bed lying in bed trying to get to sleep. Felt like a balmy evening in Spain (I've also been sunbathing for 30 mins each day after work to try and convince myself that I have had a holiday this year).

DD ran even further than me this morning, she has truly changed this Summer, from someone who doesn't like to even walk upstairs (that bit has actually not changed) to someone who is going running a couple of times a day. She even cooked dinner again yesterday, but I am a naughty mum as I added a couple of bits and made it too spicy for her to eat  whoops.

Anyhows, off to work. Have a great day everyone.

    :)

Your ability to track all those financials is amazing :T

Lists have a life of their own, if something gets done on it, something else comes along to be added to it. I figure if I don't do anything on the list, it won't grow or is that wishful thinking :rotfl:

I'm also on 66 Adpoints - which miraculously and hopefully, means I'm up to date :D
    Back on the DFW Wagon:

    CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019

Thanks Gib I actually impressed myself :o. It's a really good stress relief - not that I'm that stressed now, thank goodness. :rotfl:

Thanks, it's been a big roller coaster and still feel a little up and down, but getting there everyday. Exercise, eating well and not being around people who put me down. :D and of course the fantastic support from my MSE friends (and of course my DD).

    :):):)

Ali I stole the list idea from you, :D I seem to have bits everywhere so it's the only way I can keep track. And I need to keep onto buymobiles - I contacted them on Twitter and they promised next Weds. I'm thinking about saving the Tesco vouchers for Christmas.

Nectar points can be doubled for next few weeks. 500 points (£2.50) buys 4 swims at the Spirit Gyms. Good for the hols and DD.

I'm on 66 adpoints too - no more available at the moment. ;)

Forgot to add the £10 fuel voucher I have coming from Michellin. Need to make sure it arrives. :). Another for the list!

Good thinking Ali. I guess as long as it's on there. Better a long list than no list. :)

A slightly tight month this month, but I would really like to continue paying the £333.33 after interest to the cards so that I'm on track for £4k off the cards per year. However that's another £96 this month that I'm not sure we have.

I also want to start saving £150 per month so that next year We have another £1800 in the safety fund. I've worked out that means this time next year the balance of the safety fund would equal the balance on the credit cards. So ccs would be debt neutral (borrowing Ali's phrase there) then there would be just the car at £7895 which I can refinance at that point onto a lower monthly repayment which would mean that we could then just about survive (well about £200 short per month) on just DHs wage for a while if my contract wasn't renewed. (So every extra £200 I can put away is a month safety).

I'm not sure that I have the £150 or the £96 at the moment as I also have a bit more to repay to my Mr T card £150 - was a bit more spendy on food, DDs courses, school shoes, tyres maybe than I thought. I have got the £100 coming from scot power and buymobiles and that is going to the Mr T bill which leaves about £250 for groceries this month plus my list bits). So much as it pains me I'm going to have to leave the cc overpayment and the £150 savings until next month. I will be trying to boost both anyway to save as much as possible. Who knows I may even get a permanent full-time contract before then anyway (gosh I'm really sounding positive now!).

Right off to clear the house up now.

Loving the positivity ss - that does sound tight, and it's good that you can adjust the plan at times like this. I know you will succeed because you are so focused and determined, and your employers would be stupid not to recognise your talents and offer you a permanent contract (with a raise obviously) immediately!!!
Sending lots of positive vibes. Must shoot because the dog is stalking a pigeon and they're both going to end up in the pond if I don't intervene sharpish..... x

Echoing Giblet - great to be working out what you need, when, how it can be achieved - gets it all down and helps to free up brain space for that creative thinking to come through :D

Jogging and planning are definitely working for you. Oh and lists :D
