Can't say I approve of that... Vue is great though, always prefer it over Odeon. I can't wait to get our 12 tickets (2 accounts) :P

My local Vue is brilliant. lets me take in my chinese takeaway with rice.

Well myself and the significant half went to Vue today. Presented our Vouchers to the cashier and said we would like to upgrade to 3D.
He said he needed to check with the manager. I told the cashier to read the voucher and would see it could be done. However the manager said no and after getting a little annoyed I read out word for word all the terms conditions and eventually agreed it could be done.

Had the same hassle with VIP seating, but manager was adamant that the ticket was "Single 2D Admission only", so we just agreed, went into the screens and sat in the VIP seats. Staff never said a word. Glad we didn't pay the extra now!

Applied for the account online last week been reserved a club lloyds account number / sort code and have been in branch to do the ID thing. New customer to LLoyds.

However, I am wondering if I will get the account - I don't have the best credit score, no mention of this in branch they happily did the necessary with the ID and said I should get everything through in a few days.

I looked online with Experian and the search shows up there, however, I did notice my credit score increased by 24 points as a result!

Would I have been reserved a club lloyds account number if they weren't going to give me the account? I am fully expecting a letter next week saying 'computer says no!' Exciting times!! Anyone else have a questionable credit history and still go the account?

Just had Notification that BOS are charging me £10 for returned Standing Order to be debited on 1st July.

I have 3 Classic Vantage accounts with them plus same with Lloyds & TSB.

I think when I moved money around last month I left one BOS account empty when my rolling S/Os kicked in and therefore not enough to pay one...:(

So be careful when setting up S/Os, don't forget to cancel when taking out funds like when the Lloyds Vantage rate drops next month.

    Hi baggers02,

If you still need some clarification on what's happening with your application, I'd recommend giving our team a ring on 0800 056 0035. They'll be able to help.

Opened a Club Lloyds account online on Wednesday but they wanted to see ID. They seem overly cautious as the last three accounts I've opened with different banks have all just done electronic checking.

Went into a branch today for them to take copies of documents. First I was told that they didn't think it was possible to apply for the Club Lloyds account online.

After resolving this an advisor attempted to take me through the entire application process again, which I didn't have the time for. He wasn't very amused when I insisted on using the application I'd already completed (not sure if this was commission related!).

After finally taking photocopies these apparently had to be sent off because they couldn't access the online application reference in branch.

Quite a poor experience really, hopefully this is not a sign of worse to come.

As I expected Lloyds have absolute no idea what they are doing!

On Sunday I recieved a message asking me to take ID to a branch. I thought this was a little odd as I'd already taken ID two weeks ago.

After phoning the online applications team I was told that the branch had sent my ID to the wrong processing centre. Rather than forward it to the correct one they simply destroyed it 'for data protection' :rotfl:.

Their solution is that I waste another 1/2hr of my time going back to the branch and getting them to fax it instead.

Completely ridiculous especially as until last month I had an account with Halifax (so the same banking group) which had already had ID verification.

Needless to say I am not going to waste my time returning to the branch!
