    Hey can anyone answer this?

I have £4900 in my club Lloyds and soon to have about £1350 paid in. If I go over the £5000 limit, will I simply earn nothing in interest or will I earn 4% of the £5000 and nothing on the rest?

    Yes (but it's actually 3.93%, not 4%).

I was wondering if someone could help.

I seem to have got in a pickle with moving my Vantage account over to a Club Lloyds account.

I'm sure I clicked the 'upgrade account' link next to my Vantage account in internet banking but when I submitted the form containing my old and new account details, I had a Club Lloyds account with nothing in and my Vantage account still intact.

Have I gone about the process wrong? I don't want two current accounts.

    Thanks.

How many club accounts are you allowed?

I am sure i read somewhere that you were allowed two, but i have just tried to open a second and not been successful.

2 but 1 has to be joint. I think (correct me if I'm wrong) a joint account can only be opened on the phone or in branch.

Open the two savings accounts TESCO offers. Pull in £1 each into each of these from your Lloyds current account. TESCO will process them as DDs from your Lloyds account.

Is this correct - don't the DD's need to be to different organisations?
