Every reply from the EE rep is asking for the MSE name.

  • I decided, against my better judgement to ring Extra Energy. My final bill has supposedly now been generated and the man I spoke to said he would phone back. I said I wanted him to reply to he my email.
I got the usual excuses about them having being overwhelmed by customers last year and being a new company. I pointed out that they should have had their billing systems in place (and tested) before they launched not still trying to implement them 12 months down the line.
I left them in early December and have had the exit fees waived and cancelled my DD in early November (which is when I started the process of transferring to Eon). By my calculations I owe them approx £20, which I will pay if and when I ever receive a bill.
Extra Energy are an absolute joke.

I'm in SHOCK people HOLD THE PHONES, HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS .....

I sent a polite but angry and firm email to EE Customer services – blogmse- Billings less then 3days ago,

I said I want my bills lowed due to we are in spring and summer months and I would like my 6months bill,

Also if they did not comply I would be off before they could take their next DD payment, WELL drum roll ?!?!?!

Today I have just received an email from Mina at EE billing,

    Dear Mr. >>>

We have created your bill today billing up to the reads you gave on 3rd April 2015.

As part of this your direct debit will be from £81 to £60 (£52 gas £8 electric) which will come into effect on your May payment.

You will receive a confirmation email tomorrow and will then be able to view your bill on our website,

    I think I’m a HAPPY CHAPPY but all look good for now . . . .

  • Sainsbury's Energy are bunch of amateurs! After MSE recommended I switch to them, I deeply regret the decision. they sent a letter on 11 March to say they have started supplying Electric on 2 March and asked for a meter reading before 9 March! Or they would use an estimated reading. I think to use an estimated reading for a switch is not on! I still have not heard anything about my Gas supply. Also, MSE does not explain one of the pitfalls of switching just after the winter period. If you pay by monthly direct debit you are likely to receive a big bill from your your old supplier when you switch. This is because you are probably in a debit after the winter period and you have not had the benefit of smaller usage to catch up and get back in credit. I thing MSE should explain this.

I would check the DD part of your account, they told me the same last month and didnt actually change anything. I phoned and kicked off and they reduced my DD by a whole £3 instead of the actual agreed amount.
