They are asking for MSE name on all posts asking for anyone to contact them. Like you say just don't tell them, although wouldn't be hard for them to work out who you are from what you have posted.

I think they have got the gist of peoples feelings, and I gave them a list of complaints yesterday on the phone, which they agreed with. You are telling the truth and its not your fault you have had to resort to sounding off on a forum for frustrated customers!

How did you get the exit fees waived?
I joined them in April 2014 and first rang them in October, when my first 6 month bill should have been produced. By early November there was still no bill, I rang and was told I would have a bill by end of December. I said that they were breaking the terms of the contract that I signed upto and was leaving them and that my exit fees needed to be cancelled as they were in breach of contract. They agreed to this and I have had it confirmed that there is a note on my account to that effect. I also cancelled my DD in early November -the last payment they took was in late October. My gas and electric transferred back to Eon in early December but I am still awaiting a final bill (which will be the only bill I gave ever received from them). By my calculations I owe them approx £20 which they will receive if they ever manage to produce a bill.
  • I moved to extraenergy when they first entered the market, after ten months I have never had a bill after numerous requests I decided to move to another supplier, which took place in February, now in April I still haven't got a final bill and potentially a refund of credit after three requests. I really wished I hadn't transferred to this company, don't recommend, not worth the hassle. Just waiting for 8 weeks to elapse now so that I can raise a complaint with the regulator.

    Join the queue.

It's over 14 weeks since I left with them owing me a lot of money and over 6 weeks since I officially complained to the ombudsman.

Even the ombudsman is ignoring my emails. Nothing more than an acknowledgement. Oh, and 3 identical requests for more information all of which arrived after I'd sent them all I've got, so I've sent it 3 times in all. I ignored the last one and sent a request for an update instead. No answer so far. Looks like the ombudsman is toothless.
