I remember when my ex-husband told me someone (his ex!) from Uni was trying to arrange a reunion in Newcastle. When I asked if she'd got many to go, he ummed and ahhed and said just him (and she was taking a mate along for the ride - probably so she could tell her husband she was away with her, and not to have to mention the reunion at all).
Okaaaaaaay... like that was going to happen. All went downhill after that and, funnily enough, he's now shacked up with her (both divorced) over 2 years later.
So... as the others have asked... why aren't you invited?
Isn't it a bit strange that a reunion all that distance away has happened on the weekend you happen to be in that neck of the woods? If it is all legit, I really can't see why, if it's a sports thing, you wouldn't be able to go. Hmmm.

I don't think it's odd that she's not invited, especially as it's an afternoon thing rather than, say, dinner. They're probably all going to sing rugby songs and share a bath together

Also, if he were planning to meet another woman surely he'd want her as far away from the area as possible and not be wanting a lift?Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100 -

So long as they're clean first (and not after a match), hell yeah, I'll join 'em, cossie on, beer in hand, I know a few songs too
They can't really expect him to give up part of his weekend away, have the missus drive him an hour over, and be at a loose end. Surely she'll get an invite.
Agree, it's highly unlikely he's off to meet another woman! Actually think my ex was totally naive in why she wanted him to go! She'd come out of the woodwork several months before and he'd more or less ignored her until that point.

Probably the OP was looking forward to this weekend and the husband wasn't fussed, he has gone along with it as the OP wanted some time together but doesn't sound like he is THAT fussed about time together or rather prioritising it above all else.
So its more a general issue of time spent together.0 -
So what happened OP?
Are you going to go to the hotel with your daughter? Or did your husband realise he was being a bit selfish?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
