That was me. I sent a couple of PMs to see if she got it and no response - I would have hoped for at least a thank you especially as it wasn't just an easter egg, it was a few different easter bits plus a chocolate bar specifically for her, but I was telling myself I hadn't sent it for the thanks I would receive but to make someone else happy.
Now I'm wondering if I've also been taken for a fool.0 -
No Lilian - keep your kind heart and warm gestures - sometimes they are wasted but the majority of the itme people would really appreciate them - it was a lovely thought of yours - so don't leave what happened make you feel bad.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0

I didn't respond much on the thread, though i have followed. My thoughts are that if you are trying to get things together, then when you start and become busy, the internet becomes less of a priority despite how much help you have received. Also, how do we know how Natalie is accessing the internet, she may be in the library and not go in at the right time for a free space on a pc. Or if she is on her phone she might have no data left.

Yes with you K9 - we don't know the reasons yet.

For me it was more that I was getting replies to PMs when I was offering to help, but once I had there were no replies even though she was still active on the thread.0

Oh dear I do hope this person comes back on and it turns out she hasn't made contact for a reason.
But please all of you who have supported her don't feel a fool. You are all kind helpful people and have helped so many others.
Well done all you. Hugs to everyone. X0 -

I can understantd that Lilian, perhaps though she's just overlooked it??GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 Jul £134.25/£150 Aug £119.37/£150 £89.67/£150‼️Sep £/£160 Oct (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. I doubt she's over-looked any PM's. Finny how she was receiving and replying when she was getting help and concern, now all of a sudden she doesn't come on the thread anymore, when it was the only one she went to when she did come on, and she doesn't need the concern/attention anymore.
And if she is genuine, then she is a very rude person IMO. If people help you out (even though it's not allowed on here) and if people show concern ad spend so much time trying to hep you, a thank you is all it takes. Manners cost nothing at all. And if you were that desperate one pay check into the bank certainly isn't going to change your life overnight.
I just feel sorry for the next person who comes on here looking similar advice and is really in need of help, support and concern. As people including myself won't be so readily helpful.Pay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -

I doubt she can use the library at 1.30 am which was the time she showed as last being online when the person who sent a fiver was wondering if she got it. No offence to that user meant but I would suggest she herself could ill afford it.
I hope it's not the same person who has done this before, not nice and perhaps Andrea's post could be posted the next time a similar thread is started on this board. Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama0
