Good idea butterfly. The pasta in Tesco is very cheap - under 30p I think for spaghetti or penne - a good plateful of that will fill you up - I like ti with a little grated cheese.
Also a big bag of porridge - can even be made with water at a push. Some tins of value peaches at about 30p - at least you have something to eat then.
Great news of you finally getting some money through.
Also a bag of value flour - with one egg and some milk can make about 7 large pancakes.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
And if you don't have eggs, flour and water, mixed to make a dough can be made into flatbreads. Dry fry in a frying pan to cook.0

not posted on this thread before, but I've followed it since the beginning. Been going through some difficult times myself so not felt able to advise others so much.
Hope you're ok Natalie0 -

NO offence but you'd think after all the help and advice and most of all concern that was given to this girl on here she would have the decency to come on and let everyone know how things are going?

I looked at her other posts, she posted on 7/5 on the freebies board saying she'd got a mascara in the post and that she was new to it all.
I don't think it was a scam, too much detail and too long, maybe she's pre occupied with getting life back on track now she's been paid.
I will cut her some slack. Has anyone who had any more detailed contact with her sent a pm letting her know people are asking after her?0 -
I don't think she was 'scamming' at all. I'm sure she's just getting things back together.
Don't forget that this lady has a young child to look after and is probably still 'running herself ragged'.0
