Hope you and your son have a great weekend now that the pressure has eased off a little.
Have you seen this for Taylor Park this weekend. Looks like it might be something you could take your little boy to.
I'm going to look after my mum while my sister has a well-earned break, otherwise I'd be heading there with the grandkids .............. :rotfl:0 -

Brilliant news. It must be such a relief for you.
Glad you have enough for a little 'emergency purse'…putting a little in there whenever you can will see a nice bit of money saved up in case of any future problems with delays etc.

try and build up a small stock cupboard for if you ever have any more problems. I would say a good couple of weeks worth of meals preferably a month to help tide you over.
i learned that lesson the hard way when DH got made redundant a couple of times, so now i have enough for bills and a freezer and cupboards stocked to the brim, just in case.
next year we are drawing out one of our pensions early to pay off the mortgage, so that will be a big worry off of our shoulders, we have worked out that we will save over £6,000 in interest and will just put that and what we pay in mortgage into an isa.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
