Hi, don't post often these days lf, but had to log in to offer you some support ( whatever little my bit is worth )

I read your thread and check in from time to time to see how you are doing... it aint going too easy just now tho. It's OK to feel down when the going gets rough. The machinations of the DWP are enough to send anyone over the edge. (been there done that, got the nervous breakdown!)

I sincerely hope it gets much, much better very soon for you.
You are such a trooper, my hat is totally off to you.

Keep your chin up. Kind wishes to you and your little man.

PLEASE don't go attempting to 'work on the side', natalie - getting caught out would be the worst thing that could possibly happen to you at the moment.

Not only do they stop your 'Job Seekers' it also jeopardises your claim for Housing/Council Tax Benefit - which would be a massive amount of debt to have mounting up each week.

Phew - was just a bit worried that you might be going from frying pan to fire :).

Good luck at the CAB - hope they can get their heads around all those letters that you've received.

I know what you're going through with your letters, I had about four letters from Housing Benefit last week - was still no wiser after having read them. Finished up going to see them myself just find out 'how much do I have to pay?'.

They're supposed to 'talk in plain English' in these letters - I'd just like to know where they learned their version of English .

Please don't forget my pm - I'm around if you need some help - or even just a chat/whinge/moan :).

Hope you get your money as promised on Thursday. Get a look on tesco online and make yourself a shopping list of all their own brand value range for thurs. Have you got a heron foods near you cos they have some cracking offers. Also I can't remember if it's been mentioned but have a look on the boost your income thread and get some surveys done online to pass the time and keep u busy, I know u don't make much money off them but even if u can bank some amazon vouchers it'll all help and u could save them up for the odd Xmas or birthday pressie for the little man?

If you need a whinge or a moan just pm me xx
