Hi not to good today feeling really down and worried About things
My electric went yesterday and my aunt promised to transfer some money to me as I couldn't find anything else to sell but she didn't do it just txt me this morning saying she couldn't help .and a bit worried I received about a million letters from the dwp yesterday afternoon all saying different things and it's tax credits due to be paid this week I rang the helpline to confirm yesterday she said I'm in this payment cycle but she thinks my payday is Thursday from what it says on the system I flaming hope not
Ringing dwp tommorow and of to cab again as they advised me to complain about how I've been left
Yes have a tesco right near me and have already thought about dropping brands etc when I can finally go shopping
I think online is a better idea then your not sucked jn by the deals they offer .i have an aldi to which I'm told is fab so I'll be trying there xx
Well I can't comment on other supermarkets as e don't have Aldi etc here in N.Ireland. But Tescos are great value IMO.
As my friend said, the tea bags aren't what she's used to but beggars can't be choosers. She had to make do with what she could afford, and she continues to buy them. I do buy her the tea bags I use when they are on offer, as I only buy myself them when they are on offer.
My kids love the tescos on value Chicken nuggets and chicken pops, and I don't know what I'll do if they ever stop selling their tins of beans and sausages:eek: For 27p I can get 2 kids fed with that with a few chips, potatoes........ or as they prefer toast:rotfl:

My kids, and I love the library also. They borrow DVDs and listening books from there, and with the threat of our local library closing ATM it's good to support it also. I loved going to the library when I was younger, it as like a wee day out lol.

Kids love the park, and unfortunately these days not as many kids go to a park as they should do. They are stuck behind a computer screen or tv screen playing computer games instead of enjoying themselves and learning outside.

  • I've just investigated tesco groceries and I can't believe how much you can get for £25. It's pretty amazing, and I included toiletries etc. pretty much enough to live on for a week, with treats like biscuits and yoghurts included.

This isn't the first time your aunt has let you down. I don't think you can rely on her for help. In the future, I'd just take what she says with a large pinch of salt. Such a shame.

Hi Natalie. Hope you're ok. I know it's hard to imagine at the minute but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Your aunt doesn't sound very nice in my opinion. Have you any other family members that can help?

It really is amazing how much you save and what you can get for your money. I couldn't believe it when my friend told me about it. I save about £20 a week on shopping by finding Tescos own brand stuff. It is like a bloomin treasure hunt finding their own brand stuff though sometimes in my local Tescos.
 Nah I'd not buy them they're too dear for me:rotfl: No Just kidding. With the amount my ones go through here it's worth it lol.
Although I am going to check the price at my next shop, they could have went up in price and I just don't know about it:o

Not sure which side of the river you're on, but if it's Wirral side look up Community Spirit Wirral on facebook and they will sort you out some food. It's not a foodbank, it's for people in need so no qualifying criteria to meet.
