Being a low mileage driver, who only fills up every 3 months but spends about £130 per week at Tesco on groceries, can I pass my savings onto my Daughter as long as she uses my clubcard. Presently have a full tank of diesel and need to use my discount of 5p per litre before the end of April. This will be an ongoing problem as long as Tesco keeps this promotion.
It is all linked to the clubcard and they have no way of knowing who is using it.

This morning my discount was 14p/L ... saved £7.19 on 51L. Seems good for me!

Its good for those who spend a lot a week, ie a large family and have a big car, but for someone like me who only spends £40 per week and I only put in 15L a week, its no good. Its a bit of an exclusive offer really.

After two weeks you will have spent £80, so earned a 2p off and have £30 towards the next target.

I often shop at Tesco, but the one I go to hasn't got a petrol station, so it's not a good deal for me.

Am I right in saying that you only obtain fuel save points if you spend +£50?

If you spend below £50 in one transacation then you get nowt points?

Others seem to be saying that your separate spends get added together rather than having to reach £50 in one shop.

I don't remember remember spending £50.00 or more in store or that amount on petrol as I usually go somewhere else.

I have gone through the website. It says even if you spend on a bottle of milk it counts towards the total. Thus saying it's a running total. It's not that evident at first!

It's quite clear on their web site http://www.tesco.com/fuelsave/ that they add up everything you spend in a month. You just have to spend £50 in a month, and you get your first 2p/litre off.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
