Opening a tsb classic plus online, has anyone said the reason for opening the account is for savings from the drop down list, and had it accepted?.

    Hi,

I have the 3 Classic Enhance (used to be the Lloyds Vantage), which I fund with £1000 external funding to the 1st, then bounced to the 2nd and bounced again to the 3rd - all on the same day, which has worked for the years I've had them.

Can I simply bounce the £1000 again to Plus1 and Plus2, that I've just opened? I've deposited the full £2000 in each, via the same external funding to Enhance1, and moved the money via transfers to Plus1 and Plus2, but would this class as the min. £500 funding, at least for the first month?

The first month is already taken care of for funding as you've just funded it with £2000.

For subsequent months, a transfer from E1->E2->P1->P2 is fine. No external funding required.

So people applying for 2 of these accounts, are you applying whilst logged into your 1st account or doing separate accounts from main page?

If I apply for a 2nd account from home page I will have 2 logins???

Also do you need to set up a SO or is that just so people don't forget? I prefer to use Faster Payments.
Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month

Apply for them whilst logged out, they'll join up the accounts. You may be declined if you attempt a second whilst logged in (error messages such as "We are unable to offer you a secondary account")

It's upto you how you decide to fund the account.

I applied for the 4 solo accounts whilst logged out. Both sets of 2 accounts are linked together. The joint account was on the phone and isn't showing as linked yet.

You are allowed more than 1 though. How does this help?

I tried to open one of these yesterday, got to the screen saying we are going to offer you an account, selected no overdraft and then on the next screen had to set up internet banking details. I entered these, clicked next and got a page saying "we have encountered an error, if you were trying to open an account such as a credit card, please try again" or something like that. Tried to open again and got a message saying that I could not make an application because I had made one already recently.

    Anyone else had this?
